It's about $80 a month here for the Y family membership, and a few years ago we did get a membership.  I would LOVE to have one, but the problem we have with the Y is that it's just too far away to be worth it for us.  I wish there was one closer to my house, I'd love to have the pool.  But where I live, even though I'm in a subdivision, is kinda in the middle of nowhere.

I'm lucky that my condo has a pool open in the summer. Not as good as year round but it's something... But I think (sadly) I'm going to be way more self conscious about being in a bathing suit now than when I was fat. I seriously don't see myself going this year. Oh body image issues...

Hi all! Work life and home life have been messy this week and sadly coming here got pushed to the back of the list, but I've been thinking about you all!! We had our son's Kindergarten school meeting/tour last night and that sort of thing makes me sad- I hate how he's growing so fast. QOTD: I worked at a grocery store from the time I was 16 until I got married and moved at 21. It was the *******l of my best friends worked there and we still have the best memories. Started as a cashier, then did customer service desk and training. Loved it!

Today is 11 weeks post op and I hit 50 pounds lost (on the dot)!!! Lost 1.2 pounds this week which is small but amazing considering all of the fluid retention and PMS :)

It's my favorite protein shake: https://dashingdish.com/recipe/candy-cane-milkshake/

I halve it, which is plenty for me at this point.

11 weeks and 50lbs is great! I think the candy cane shake sounds delicious. My problem is I think shake recipes sound delicious, it is just when it comes to making it I am lazy....
