Good Wednesday morning from sunny CNY!  You guys, Syracuse has gone completely insane.  LOL  I mean, this is a basketball town anyway, but since SU made the Final Four, you can't turn around without seeing orange.  And I have to admit, I am completely into it, too.  I got me an SU shirt and everything.  We watched the last two games and they were crazy exciting so I'm hoping for an awesome outcome this Saturday when they play NC!  And, AND the SU women are in the Final Four, too!  Woo, college basketball!  LMAO

QOTD!  What's the view from your kitchen window?  Bonus points if you include a picture.  LOL  The window above my kitchen sink looks out over my backyard and the woods beyond.  It has a most excellent view of the sunrise above the cedars, which I'm lucky enough to witness every morning.

Today's menu is much better than yesterday, but I still am falling outside of the AMAW critter challenge.  Oh well.  C'est la and all that jazz.

What are the odds of me taking you to a vegan place? They all have my picture by the door, anyway.

You're having steak -- if you finally let me feed you.

We have a lot of deer on our property and my husband hunts, so I am stocked with venison until next fall!

When the boys were home hubby used to gun and bow hunt, but since they moved out he hasn't gone. I miss the ground venison as I think it makes the best chili. My youngest,Sam,works at Smith Gilbert Gardens in Kennesaw,Georgia. Any of you who are close need to check it out! He's a horticulture technician and since he's the one who is paid little but does all the work,he starts work at 7. They have 20 acres on the outer edge of the city and he has deer come up to him while he's working all the time. The other day he walked around the corner to get something out of the potting she'd and almost walked into one. They also have 3 different species of hawks and one of them has a newt with three small ones in it right now. Hexercise loves the garden and his job just not his boss so much!

I've actually never tried venison. I consider myself an "ugliatarian". I only eat animals  that I don't consider cute. No deer, no lamb, no rabbit... It's stupid, but it's real!
