What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Kristin maybe you forgot because of vacation brain..and yes thete is a lot of walking in DC.
So Monday first, as I was on road...stuck with all critter challenge.
My snacks didn't work out too well- bacon jerky was delicious but too spicy to eat with no fluids and driving, and salami/provolone snack was disgusting after 5 hours in car. Didn't kill me but yuck.
Monday- in no particular order
2 premier proteins
2 hard boiled eggs
4 oz trader joe roast turkey
1 salami/provolone snack
Dinner with DC GIRL - so much fun!!
2 garlic shrimp, chicken tikki masala, korma chicken
I am going to my Surgeon's appointment in a few minutes. Didn't sleep well. Then driving home. I will post Tuesday food tomorrow.

Years ago I got a cookbook as a joke gift. It was cooking on your car's engine. It involved wrapping food in aluminum foil and placing it on your engine as you drove around. I never tried it, but have always been intrigued by the idea.

I could have used that cookbook today. Stuck on the Belt Parkway. 1 1/2 hours from the Verranzano Bridge to JFK... 7 hours in the car... As I was stuck in traffic and hungry, broke out the Bacon Jerky...Consider the tic tac I ate afterwards to calm my mouth down ...
'a condiment'...hahahaha

Bummer on the bacon jerky and limp warm salami/provolone. Too bad you didn't pack a cooler with ice, you are driving right, not flying?
Your menu looks awesome though, you got this challenge down pat!!! So glad you got together with DCgirl!! YAY for meeting in real life!
Look forward to your post tomorrow, and how the appt with the surgeon went!!
Safe drive Cynthia!

YAY for down .5 Kat, awesome!! Your menu is fantastic! How the heck do you stay so low calorie!! I am impressed. You are killing the all meat AMAW challenge!! You go girl!!
And coffee is a must
Hi AMAW folks!
Well, I am not doing AMAW, though I do attempt to eat protein forward :) Yesterday, I had an AMAW dinner with NYMom!!! Yep, Cynthia and I met up for some shopping (I mean, YES, I needed two new necklaces, clearly) and then we went and had dinner. We stuck to AMAW and shared some shrimp and chicken dishes at an Indian restaurant. NO rice, NO naan, NO samosas. It was so fun to meet Cynthia - as you can see from the pic here, she is looking SO fabulous. Hard to believe we each weighed over 350 lbs at our highest!!!
Time since surgery: 2 years, 4 months
B: Coffee with half and half, egg salad
L: Leftover Indian chicken
S: Cucumber salad, artichoke and jalapeno dip (Trader Joe's)
D: TBD - am going to a friend's book-signing and then an open mic night!
E: 50 minutes of SolidCore done! I am a sweaty beast, but feeling strong!
Have a great day, carnivores!
