Hi everybody.

The scale moved .3 pounds today- at least it is moving in the right direction.

I did well on my AMAW challenge except when I had some green beans and low fat/sweet potato from easter. The rest was all meat.

I tried out my instant pot last night. Made two chicken thighs in 12 min in that thing- from frozen. Now just need to work on flavorings.

b: ham?

L: chicken or shrimp

D: not sure - getting hammed out

S: more meat lol

Jogging tonight!

Good Morning!

I am really struggling with all the junk food in the house from Easter. It really hasn't been too bad in the past, but the further out I have gotten the harder it has gotten. I need to find a way to deal with it, as I don't want to project my food issues on to my kids and husband. I suppose it's all part of the journey...

Could you take the unopened junk food to work, could you donate it?  Just an idea.  This past week we had a huge catering order for an event and I mean huge like feed 100 + people that one of our drug reps was paying for.  The event the catering was for got cancelled last minute (long story) but my point is had our admin call around the city and find a shelter we could donate the food too.  We found an all women's shelter for young woman who are unwed, abuse survivors, sent them all the food, had it delivered to them.  Got an email today from the Director of the shelter, she actually sent pictures of the young girls with plates of food and desserts.  She said a lot of them were in tears from the generosity of "strangers", they felt like someone cared. Ok I totally got off topic, but if you have a lot of junk food that you could donate to the food bank or a shelter do if you really don't want it in your house.  Just an idea.

I am glad you recognize that you don't want your food issues projected on your kids/husband. I grew up with an anorexic mother who had major body image issues and major food issues, guess who get it all, yup your's truly.

Great menu, I love tomatoes and fresh mozz, yummmmm

Morning all. Today is kinda going to suck. I am sitting in the dentist office waiting for my root canal.

I had a protein shake for breakfast, and will likely go liquid for lunch, lol. Haven't planned dinner yet, but will post again once the torture is done.  I'm going to ask for the gas. I'll pay out of pocket for that **** because I HATE dental work.

I hit the gym this morning.  Felt great. Hoping to do a good run the afternoon. Depending on how I feel after the torture.

Tip about crowns, always get a root canal with a crown. The last one I got they didn't do the root canal l, just crowned the tooth. A year later abs I'm getting the root canal now. Blah.
