Will i gain weight?! Will i never go back to losing weight? Help?!
Hi there,
I was overweight when originally prescribed birth control. Dr prescribed me one where weight gain wasn't a side effect. It depends on the pill.
I've been in yaz, alesse and switched over to depo provera before surgery because Dr said other birth control pills don't absorb properly.
Before you start taking them, ask your Dr to see if he can switch it. Or switch next month if you can.
My periods have been crazy since my surgery. It has been more than 10 months now. I am on Mirena because oral birth control does not necessarily absorb fully. I am considering having my tubes tied since this isn't controlling my periods anyway. My OB felt that a vasectomy for my husband was the best option, but that is not going to happen. LOL
If you are past having children look into ablation. You can't afford too many periods like that it will deplete your iron
