woohoo! One mile done!

walking seems to be my best medicine. No ventolin. Pumps needed either.

its cold and rainy out but I sucked it up and went for a walk.

Feeling amazing!

Awesome job!  I wish I would have pushed myself a little more early on, I can't believe how awesome I feel being active now.

Keep up the great work!

I know they say exercise doesn't do much for weight loss but it does help me relax, sleep better and feel so much stronger. I have exercised all through my 31/2 years post op and love it now! Not a gym person but I love my daily 4 miles plus walkS with my boxer Lily. She loves them too since she spent her first five years in a small outdoor cage at a puppy mill. It's good for both of us!

You are doing so good, I'm still terrible about the exercise thing - I'm so lazy and tired after work.  I'm excited to see your results.

You are two days post op right?

Are you cleared for that much exercise?

Yes exercise is a wonderful thing and essential to long term success but you just had major surgery. Over doing is not good this early out.

I am five days out.

My doctors instructions are to walk. Walk, walk and then walk some more. As long as there's no pain.

Great Job,

Walk as much as you can.  My doctor also said to walk as much as possible.  By the end of two weeks that was the only thing i could do to help me get down those horrible shakes.  lol.  The motto is walk walk, sip sip.

you got this.

RNY the best thing i ever did for myself.
