What's on your Monday Menu RNYers? Meat Week Begins!

Hi Gang, Hi AMAW Challengers!!! Thank you Deanna for starting for the post!  Sorry I would have started it but my morning has been wild, one of my girlfriends Mom got rushed to the hospital this morning, heart attack, been helping her all morning.

Deanna love that you are running now... isn't it a great feeling!!  You are one of "us" now, love it!!!  Great job girl!! Glad you got the exercise bug, its a great feeling as you get stronger!

Meat Week is upon us, I know you all are going to be great, let's see those menu's and pictures!!!

My menu today is pretty straight forward, turkey, steak & genoa salami

Time Since Surgery: 2 years + 4.5 months

B: coffee, coffee with splenda & lactose milk then 5oz of butterball turkey breast with 1 tbps gravy

L: 5oz of butterball turkey breast with 1 tbsp gravy

S: 4 slices of Genoa salami with mustard

D: 5oz of Angus grilled steak with 1 tbsp bbq sauce

S: 4 slices of Genoa salami with mustard

Below are my pics of 1. weighing my 5oz of turkey breast, 2. my food for the day (turkey for breakfast & lunch and Steak for dinner, the steaks come in two in a pack, I only eat one at a time and my two salami snacks are on the same plate for visual for you guys!)


Totals: Calories: 894  Protein: 114  Carbs: 11  Fat: 44

V/W: vits are done, calcium is on alarms, lots of coffee, tea, water with lemon

E: its pouring rain here, so will go to the gym today and run the treadmill for 8km & will do arms. If it stops raining will take the dogs out later, but its not hopeful that the rain will stop

Lord have mercy, that turkey!  It makes me want to pick up a breast to roast this next weekend!  With gravy and a little cauliflower mash on the side.  OMG.

I hope your friends mom pulls through.  I'll say a prayer.

If you are hitting the weights hard the 3 pound gain can be muscle.  It happen to me, but the good news is you will be amazed how much you can eat with the increased muscle mass and not gain    My running days are over  We need an old person icon LOL

Grim, I am doing this with the hope it will help me lose quickly. Once I get to goal I will do a more balanced meal. Great questions. Let you know what happens at the end of the week   Good Luck Everyone

Hi all -- don't usually post here -- but since it's MEAT WEEK -- here I go!

Already had and measured: 

Breakfast: 1.5 oz spiral sliced ham

Lunch: 2.2 oz of spiral sliced ham

Planned --

Dinner:  3 oz of chilled shrimp with 1/8 reduced sugar ketchup and horseradish

Evening snack: 1 oz bacon jerky

Total 507 calories 

carbs: 28 (includes supplements and coffee)

Ok so here is my breakfast brunch.  Raw tuna, samon and shrimp.  This is one of my go to meals.  Loaded with protein.
