What's on your Monday Menu RNYers? Meat Week Begins!

Whoo hoo!  Let MEAT WEEK commence!  I am excited because I was disgusting the past few days.  I have been carb and sugar crazy.  When I stepped on the scale this morning I was not pleased.  I need to detox and meat week should help me do just that :)  

Way to go Deanna!  I love that you are loving the exercise!  You will come to the dark side soon enough...lol.

Time since surgery: 20+ months

B: Pork Sausage and coffee with cream

S: Pepperoni

L: Rotisserie Chicken

S: Hard salami or ham

D: unknown (I'm thinking pork chops)

E: Rest day

W/V: Started

No totals, I really don't want to know my calories until tonight.

I know! If you had told me 4 years ago that I would love to walk so much I would get upset if I skipped a day,I would have laughed at you! But I do! I know they say it doesn't really help much with weight loss but it makes me feel more relaxed and definitely stronger! I guess I am hooked! I do hate that I can't really run though but I'll just be content to do what my knees will allow.

I had a headache this morning, and my guess is that it was from a Carb Crazy weekend.

Oh I know, it usually does, I just didn't feel like trying to plan my menu that way, when I'm still struggling just to get my fluids and protein in most days. Main focus is that and I'm sick so I feel that is going to get my this week. Normally I'm pretty much a meat girl.

Well, so far meat week has been a success for me. It might be because, literally, I am still in bed... Or maybe I am just awesome. 

I have all the food I need I just have to get on it. I thought I was going to have steak but my husband shoved it all in his meat hole yesterday. So he gets 3 8 oz steaks, I get 2 oz and he acts all surprised I might have wanted more... Geesh, he knew it was meat week! 

I don't know what meat I am going to eat other than the turkey jerky I bought. But I got this.
