What's on your Sunday Menu, RNYers?
Steak is for everyday. You need something that says "holiday."

I think we are going out to dinner. I don't feel guilty. I am just tired. I did make everyone breakfast this morning. Which is my favorite for everyone to get together at. Not sure why. I guess I feel that my kids are home safe when I see them at my table in the morning.
Happy Easter to everyone!!
We are having friends over and are grilling steak and chicken. I am also making potato salad, roasted broccoli, twice bake cauliflower (thanks to melissa!), and a low carb sweet ricotta custard for dessert. I am going to stay on plan even though my potato salad is amazing and involves tons of bacon.
I am going to have a shake and once I log the twice baked cauliflower recipe I will make my plan for lunch and go from there.
My favorite holiday is Christmas. It has such a significance to me religiously but also we have so many wonderful family traditions involved... Well I just love it!
Morning! Happy Easter!
Ive been to the gym, breakfast is done and seasoned up the turkey breast for dinner and I have yams boiling. I really wanted to go to church, but traffic was already a pain at 9am, and I really don't have a church 'home'. Hubby is going to his church, but I just don't get anything out of services there anymore.
QOTD: favorite holiday is probably Christmas. Mainly because it such a lazy day, were sitting around in our PJ's most of the day.
laundry is already done so today I may just paint my toenails and laze around. Meal plan:
m1 1/2c egg beaters, 2oz Canadian bacon
m2: yogurt, granola
m3: roast turkey breast, candied yams and broccoli
m4: curry chicken/cabbage
I'm making a sweet potato pie too; so I will have some of it. And I confess to buying dark chocolate yesterday- I call that a win since I don't care for it much, so a little square satisfies any Easter candy cravings.

Chocolate is my weakness. I could never eat just one square.
I do not really have a food plan for myself. I did make my DH and (college kids/adults) a lasagna for oven and meatballs in the crockpot. Things have been really tough. My nutritionist says that I should stay away from this forum(as if your all possessed or something). Its been a rough ride for me healthwise since surgery in October and I have been without a job due to this. I landed in the hospital with a NASTY UTI. I say nasty b/c as a nurse they let me see the cultures(its pretty bad). They changed my antibiotic 3 times and I lost 13 lbs in a week. I slept last week away. I miss you guys!!! Somehow I went from Medium clothes to small clothes overnight and DH is freaking out.
Having a good plan in place makes a lot of other things easier. But it sounds like you've been suffering from depression as well. I hope you feel better soon.
What is it your nutritionist doesn't like about us?

Her words were that I need to be eating grains and not be so into protein. Does that make sense? She is like a size 1 or negative 1 lol. I do get treated for depression. I planned out my water and vitamins for this week food for tmw(thats a miracle) made some food items ahead of time.
She wants me eating quinoa tons of beans and such. 800-1000 calories a day. I love you nice ppl so I kinda am not listening to her.
Grains really do nothing for you. I had beans when I was in the early soft food stage, but not since.
I would keep doing your own thing.
