What's on your Sunday Menu, RNYers?
Morning beautiful people! Happy Easter to you all. Today is supposed to be a beautiful day here in the D, we're supposed to get up to nearly 70 degrees. I don't have a family traditional dinner, but every year I get together with my inlaws and we fill plastic eggs with candy and hide them in the back yard. Then the kids all run and find it and then gorge themselves. Most of the kids are older, but they still love candy so they still insist on finding the eggs.
I bought one of these prepackaged Easter baskets for my youngest. It had 4 small fun sized packs of candy in it and some cheap toys. That's all I got him. With the egg hunt later, he'll have way too much candy anyway. My oldest got about 6 pieces of candy (Reese's Egg sized), a small chocolate bunny and 4 bottles of sugary soda pop. I'm not into Easter, but I don't want my kids to feel left out. I don't go to church, so I plan on just hanging with my homies for most of the day.
My hubby and I went shopping for a ring for our anniversary. I we found a few enhancers that go well with my ring, so he made me leave and go to GNC in the mall while he picked out which one I was getting, lol. I hope it was the bigger one! Here is a pic of my beautiful solitaire.
Anyway, here's my plan for the day. I'm making a ham and my sis in laws are all making carby sides to go with. I'll have ham and some collard greens, and maybe a few pieces of fruit. No candy for me today! I did get myself some Quest Peanut Butter Cups, and I may have one later as a treat. Just one cup, not the two that come in the package.
No totals, but here's my plan:
B: 1 egg, 1 bacon, 1oz fat free mozzarella
L: egg salad or lunch meat roll with cheese, depends on how I'm feeling
D: Ham, greens and fruit
Have a wonderful Easter everyone! God bless!
I"m going to walk at least 2 miles today to try to loosen my legs up a bit. I'm still sore, but I have to admit that my workout yesterday helped loosen me up a lot. I may try to do some yoga, or at least stretch out.

Happy Easter. I thought I was going to be making brisket for Easter. It was never sent. I am hoping to go out since I am annoyed with what to make.
I am a planner and I hate when things get screwed up. I know breakfast will be eggs. The rest of the day will be okay. I am just treating it like a normal day.
I never thought in a million years I would like to be athletic wear. I looked for a long time in that section of TJMAXX yesterday. Things really have changed.
Right now I am not sure what my favorite holiday is. I am in just a funk this morning. I will be fine. Going to go for my three mile walk and clear my head.
Have a great day.

Boo to the funk :( Hope your day gets better. I am a planner too and hate when I can't...
I like the selection of athletic stuff at TJMaxx. I have a bunch of cute sport capris and tops from there. Prices are good, too!
You're making me feel bad. I don't have any sport capris.

What about your emergency ham? You have an emergency ham hanging somewhere for just such a scenario, don't you?

It's insanely cheap, right? Scrap metal is worth more than ham.
They wrap them in brightly colored foil too. I got one in red, blue, and brown. It seemed more festive that way.
