What's your favorite food prep gadget for post-op?
Most of the scales seem to be about the same, except possibly for one or two models I've seen people mention that are super compact, and they take them to restaurants. I rarely eat at a restaurant, so I don't bother obsessing about a scale on those occasions.
The variety of Fitbits and other trackers is overwhelming, so I couldn't even guess what some of them do. Mine is pretty basic, the One, and it doesn't do alarms.

My slow cooker easily gets the most use. Moist, tender meat every time, and no cooking after I get home from work.
I found a deal on the T-Fal Optigrill, and I absolutely love it. This is the other one that I use at least twice a week.

Disclaimer: I have kitchen gadget disease. It is heriditary, as my other also was inflicted as are my daughters and son.
I went through 4 models of blenders until I was happy. Oster- old style, terrible and leaves chunks in protein shakes that use ice. Ice is a big deal to me, as it goes a long way in masking the nasty protein taste. Oster bullet style, same issue. Ninja- better, but still chunky. It collects dust now awaiting one of my daughters to move out and need it. Vitamix- very old off of ebay. Loved it, but realized the antiquity was compromising performance. New vitamix ($350) and I love love love it. But wait, there is more. My stomach gave me all kinds of heck this past summer and for months afterwards, reducing me ot a liquid diet. So I picked up a Blendtec for school. It is a very nice blender, but the Vitamix is for sure better. So cost wise, if you can't quite swallow the price of a Vitamix, blendtec would be the next one down. Then Ninja.
I also highly recommend the Instant Pot Duo 7 +1 pressure cooker. It is ideal for our weight loss- fast nutritious food with minimal to no fat used in the cooking process. The money I save on making my own yogurt pays for it in less than 2 months. I use it constantly. I also have several stop top pressure cookers, but the IP is by far my favorite.
