When my pouch is getting full, besides that full feeling one gets, I always sneeze twice; two very huge sneezes!  Then I know it's time to stop eating; that my pouch is full!  Isn't that strange?  Does that happen to anyone else?  I just thought it was super funny!  LOL!  (I know, I'm a weirdo!)

Sneezing, runny nose, or hiccups are very common as a full signal. Actually, overly full.

Hiccups?!? This is so helpful to me! I got these so bad today (6th day out) after drinking abiut 4-5oz of crystal lite. I then made myself incredibly sick feeling because I continued to sip a ton of water to try and get rid of them because I couldnt hold my breath and do it for some reason. Ugh, problem solved. Now I know when too much is too much...

At the risk of sounding redundant. It is actually a sign of the start of a problem needing to be brought into specific relief.

It says to me a few things, one, have you been accurately weighing your portions? Two, if you're feeling "full", it may mean you have a lot of inflammation or a stricture in your stoma.

What could you be eating that is making your feel "full" this early in your eating plan? You should only be on slider foods correct?

Keep in mind that I'm new at this also, so I'm most likely wrong. Just my thoughts.

LOL that is a quirky symptom but its great that you have it. I guess i have never ate til full (but I am Just starting on soft foods now) that, or I dont have it and i hope it does happen.

I know before my surgery as i was eating and resting between bites and talking with friends I would notice a sigh. That was my que to quit.

Yes, this is actually very very common.  I had the hiccup version or the runny nose.  As others have stated, it is a sign that you've actually eaten too much.  It's a good indication that you need one or two bites less than you've consumed.

Now I rarely get the sneeze/hiccup/runny nose because I don't eat to that point.

Hope that helps!

Sneezing and runny noses are common. It's not a good thing. It means you ate too much. Learn to stop before you get to that point.
