I play Wii tennis like a pro, but on the actual court, it's not quite as graceful... ;)

I tried playing tennis as a teenager once, but all I did was run after the ball that I missed hitting.

Good morning JB & gang!  Your paper book is gorgeous!!! WOW.  I am talent-less, I have zero hobbies, I don't collect anything, I don't make anything, nada, looking at everyone's talent makes me feel inferior HA HA HA HA  The only thing I can remotely think of as a hobby would be I love hiking in provincial parks.  There is one 10 minute drive from us, and we go there often, I love nature so that's my thing.

Just about to go out to brunch with hubby.  I was up late last night, could not sleep so I just woke at 10:30am and about to jump in the shower and go for bunch and then grocery shopping and then a hike with the hubby and the pups and then we are doing some painting, our kitchen, our powder bathroom, upstairs hallway.  Spent the evening last night doing the taping and today is painting.

Here is a quick goofy pic of me & the pups from yesterday's ice walk. That's me being goofy, the tree was over the trail and I was pretending to "limbo" under it, hubby had taken his Nikon Camera and was shooting all the gorgeous ice scenes and snapped this of me.

Time Since surgery: 2 years + just shy of 5 months

Brunch: half a Western omelette shared with hubby, lots of coffee with splenda & lactose milk

Late lunch: 5 oz of grilled chicken breast with spicy bbq sauce

Late Snack: 4 slices of deli roast beef with mustard

Late Dinner: 5 oz of grilled chicken breast with spicy bbq sauce

Even later snack while painting: protein hot chocolate + 4 slices of deli roast beef with mustard

Totals: calories 1000  protein: 148  carbs: 23  fat: 31

V/W: vits done, calcium on alarms, lots of coffee, tea, water + lemon

E: hike with hubby and the pups and house painting

Happy Saturday all!! TWO sleeps to AMAW!

Looks like you are getting a good head-start on AMAW. That protein count is awesome. I already had a menu fail today and it's not even noon. Argh. Love the pic--so pretty!

The snow and ice can be absolutely beautiful. But it's all fun and games until your windshield wiper snaps.

Tell me about it! Went to two different stores today to get new wiper blades, both places were out of my size of wiper, gotta go back out tomorrow and find them, really did everyone in my city lose a 26" driver side wiper blade and no there is shortage?? LOL LOL

I wish I was better at meal planning like you guys are. I'm struggling to get my liquids in, so I'm flipping the way I eat around. I'm drinking first, then eating. I'm also eliminating all carbs, even though doc says things like oatmeal and Cream of Wheat are ok.  Cutting food isn't really a big deal anymore, it's strange, I get hungry, but it doesn't consume my life the way it used to. I find it even weirder that this is the very first Easter that I will have no Cadbury eggs, and I'm not even that sad about it.

B:  chicken soup 3 oz

L:  shredded pork 2 oz

D: shrimp ****tail (no sauce) going out to dinner

For a snack I may do a boiled egg, I'm kind of craving them

Hobby...I grew up in a artsy/crafty environment, my family owned a chain of craft and scrapbook stores. But, I'm a terrible artist, painter, sculptor...I don't have any kids...so I never caught the bug. Now, I work in I.T. and it completely consumes my life and free time, can work be a hobby? Food used to be my biggest hobby.

Planning is habits. Get in the habit, and it will become second nature.

You are very early out.... getting your liquids in is not easy. I still find it easier to not eat solid food until lunch.... I drink all morning...coffee, tea, water and a protein drink... I still drink some later in the day, but don't feel so pressured to get it in. Always found it harder to drink, once I started eating solids for the day.
