Is the desk tour own design?

It was. I had my brother try some different heights and slants to see what best fit him, and worked the other dimensions from that.

At the risk of embarrasing you by bringing more attention to your drawers , this is the most attractive and well-thought-out standing desk that I've seen. Love the use of traditional materials and fine woodworking methods to execute a contemporary concept. The stepped sizes of those drawers and fine joinery make this both functional and elegant.

Grim your claw foot is stunning, WOW!  First I thought was its very Edgar Allan Poe.   You are extremely talented!  WOW.  Can I put an order in? LOL 

I paint in watercolors.  I don't use them the usual way (blurry and watery).  My watercolor paintings are very controlled and detailed.  Here is a picture of one of my paintings.

Wow, um...I am totally not doing anything so beautiful with watercolors, today! I think I am going to have a big old grey smudge on the paper and call it a day. Yours is incredible--I love the detail on the fabric. Is it really just a hobby or do you sell them?
