Instant pot recipies?
I bought an Instapot a month or so ago and love it.
I have been making yogurt for years and what actually pushed me over the edge to buy one is the yogurt feature.
I heat the milk stovetop, and then put the prepared mixture into the Instapot and press the yogurt button.
I only heat the milk to 120. Just under 120 I add my starter yogurt. Not all brands work well even if they say they have active cultures- I have had success with Dannon, Stonyfield, and Aldi greek.
Once you add your yogurt in and stir it will come down a few degrees. Above 120 kills the culture. I know a lot of instructions insist on heating to 180. I used to do that and then put it in an ice bath to lower. The milk is already pasteurized, and after watching a Good Eats/Alton Brown episode on yogurt making I no longer do that.
I do 1/2 gallon of milk at a time, although with the Instapot you could do a gallon. Put mixture in press the yogurt button and you are good.
I also have used organic and other ultra-pasteurized milk with no problem. Now I use Fairlife. I personally do use whole milk.
I used to have to jump through many more hoops to maintain an even temp and get yogurt. This is so easy.

I make it plain and then add flavorings as I eat it.... because I might not want to use the whole batch for the same thing... I am the only one eating it. Might want to use it for a savory recipe or something as well...

I just my IP yesterday! There's a Facebook group "Instant Pot Community".... Loads and loads of recipes. Once you've joined you'll be able to do a search for low carb recipes.
I have the yogurt feature, but haven't used it yet. However, I did own a yogurt maker and my homemade yogurt is delicious.
Best of luck to you.

I have an Instant Pot and have made yogurt. Most times soy yogurt using an organic soy milk not one that has other ingredients besides water. I use a yogurt starter called belle+bella from amazon, that works great. You can also use plain yogurt one teaspoon per quart works as well. I usually make mine in IP for about 11 hours overnight. No added water vent open or closed works the same. Generally I save some yogurt from last batch and use this as a starter for my soy yogurt. I have never had luck using starter twice with soy for some reason have to use the starter for the next batch. It is much cheaper to buy some at the store if you can handle dairy..I have issues with dairy. I have also used probitotic capsules as well and they work great
