What's on your menu Photo Friday RNYers?
I am so so so proud of you! I know how much you were struggling just a couple of weeks ago and you got your head into the game and made the changes that needed to be made. You are making it easier for me to stick to my guns with the carbs. I know the minute I start thinking about something I shouldn't have I'm like "Oh, **** I'll have to tell Melissa and then I'll be embarrassed that I ****** up." You are a great motivator, my friend.
Nice! Great job on the BMI. "Normal"? What is that? Hahaha

Melissa, so happy for you, I am here doing a happy dance for you!!! Great job!!
Old Quebec is gorgeous, hubby and I have plans to go there for a long weekend, I love it there. Your dinner sounds yummy, I love chicken parm!
Good morning Gang! I am still so sore, i don't know what I did but I think I broke myself with the workout on Wednesday. It even hurts to sit down on the toilet. And to think I'm going back to that torture chamber tomorrow to do it to myself all over again. Gah.
as for the QOTD, I haven't traveled a whole lot in my life. I think I have two places that stick out to me and they are so different. My favorite was Seattle where you could see Mount Rainier all the time. Everything is so green and lush. We went in April of 2014 to visit my brother and the week we were there it was 70 and sunny everyday. We went on a Harbor Tour, and spent time wandering downtown. It was wonderful. My second would be Detroit. I know, the place is a ****hole. It's crumbling into dust, but there is a beauty about it as well. The old beautiful buildings that have been neglected and forgotten. I love going downtown and seeing the new businesses and life that it being breathed into the city. It's a big job, but honestly I think that it's finally going to get better. We just need to keep the thugs out of our local government. Detroit was once such a great city and I'm hopeful that it will be great again.
So, here is my plan for the day:
almost 8 months since surgery
B: I think I'll just show you a picute of what I ate, add on a coffee with cream and splenda. I also had a cup of coffee with sugar free coffeemate at home before work.
L: 4oz roast beef, 1 slice ultrathin provolone with mustard and a pickle spear
D: boneless chicken breast and stewed veg
S: light and fit Greek cherry yogurt and a vanilla quest protein shake warm with cinnamon.
totals:
Calories 819 Protein 100 carbs 26 fat 38
I'm pissed because all week long my calories have been under 800 consistently. now, because I had that coffee at home this morning I'm over by 19 calories.
