Here is what someone sent me when I told them about my meat week
I mentioned to someone about my meat week and they thought I was nuts and sent this to me.

Nothing Tastes as Good as Healthy Feels!
I just briefly scanned that article, and I have to point out one thing. Since I've gone meat forward my diabetes had corrected itself.
I have a younger brother who is a vegan, AND morbidly obese. We do not discuss religion, politics and now food. We big think the other is ingorant. Only difference is I'll be fit and healthy and he'll still be morbidly obese. I have no reason to argue with him.

I was concerned about the cancer report it came out, too. I talked to my PCP and nutritionist, who both said it was not worth being concerned about, given the small amounts of food I consume, and the tenuous science the study links to. I'm doing this for a week, here and there, and I'm careful about keeping processed deli meats to a minimum. I can't imagine the results will make me sicker than being MO.
