Morning Mamata!
I had an AWESOME day yesterday. Firstly, I feel like I've kicked the carbs and I'm not having any cravings at all. It's awesome to feel free from it. I am consistently getting less than 50g of carbs a day, and all of it is from dairy or veg. I'm not adding any extras in and it does make it so much easier. I finally got my **** together and went to the gym around the corner from my house. It's a womens only training based gym that has classes in the morning and evening 6 days a week. It's 10 minutes from my house and affordable, and it's INTESNE. I realized last night just how much I HATE burpees. I am sore today, but the worst of it is that I'm actually wobbly in my legs. I had a death grip on the handrail while I was coming down the stairs this morning. I'm not going to be able to get bac****il Saturday morning, but I'll try to walk a few miles either tonight or tomorrow so I don't get too stiff.
Throwback thursday before and afters. They took a pic at the gym last night after out workout but haven't posted it on facebook yet. I'll see if I can find a current pic. Funny, I've noticed that I don't have any mirrors that show a full body for me to take a selfie, and it's pretty awkward to ask one of my coworkers to snap a pic of me for this, lol. So I picked a photo from the last night I went out to the bar. The before pic was taken at the Detroit Derby Girls Roller Derby in 2012. I don't think I was at my highest weight at that point, I was probably at around 270 or so. I picked that picture because I look so WIDE in it. It blows my mind. I still have 37lbs to go to him MY goal of 140, but I feel so much better!
Okay, here's my plan for the day:
almost 8 months since surgery
B: 1 egg omelet with onion and mozzarella, a slice of bacon and coffee with cream and splenda
L: chicken salad, cucumbers and a pickle (or two)
D: ground turkey "spaghetti" with zucchini noodles
S: light and fit greek cherry yogurt and mozzarella and turkey pepperoni crisps
totals:
Calories 785 Protein 79 carbs 37 fat 38
QOTD: My OLD favorite easter food was spiced jelly beans. My NEW favorite, since I have vowed I am not touching a single piece of candy this year, is deviled eggs. I'll be making some. I'm making a spiral ham and deviled eggs and taking them to my inlaws and the sis in laws are going to make mac and cheese, pasta salad, greens and a fruit platter. I'll have a little bit of the greens and some fruit with my ham.
Rockin' it girl, love the top.... mmmm deviled eggs.
