what's on your menu Throwback Thursday RNYers?
It's really hard early out to see the difference, but I bet there is a difference that is noticable. "Only 40lbs" it's funny how we say that when before surgery losing 40 would have been a huge accomplishment. My youngest child only weighs 30lbs, lol. It will keep coming. Hang in there and before you know it you'll be down 100lbs and looking back at this time and chuckling.
Liquids are still a struggle for me even almost 8 months out, but they are really important. Keep focusing on sipping a little at a time. I'm pretty lucky that I can kind of "chug" a bit now, like 4 oz at a time so when I remember I will do it.
Welcome and keep on posting!
Welcome! and 40lbs is great...

Good morning. I'm still working on uploading photos, so I don't have a "before" on my phone, but I think I can upload a "during." Here goes nothin . . .
Excuse the messy kitchen. This was taken June, 2014 so I was a little over 1 year post surgery.
Even though I've been eating clean, I've been super hungry all week, which suck. I'm hoping I'll be so full from protein during critter week that it will take care of this problem. Can't wait!
Forgot about NQOTD: My favorite Easter candy . . .hmmmmm . . . Reeses eggs, or the candy coated cadbury eggs, or jelly beans (there may or may not be some brachs tiny jelly beans in my pantry right now, grrrr.
Here's my plan:
B: Ground turkey (3.56 oz) and cheese (1oz)
L: Hamburger patty, grilled onions, slice of cheese over kale salad
D: Chicken thigh and asian slaw
S: Light and Fit, 2 oz sliced ham
E: 5 mile run
Totals: Cal. 1,144; protein: 104g; Fat: 55g; carbs: 44g (those totals seem really high for the amount of food on my menu, but c'est la vie
