QOTD: I replied to Em on that time thing I have to have the alarm at a "5" or "10" and yes on the gas having to be even on the dollar for me too. One of my "things" is having to open all of my applications on my computer in the same order every day and I cannot stand my the icons move around on the desktop!

Good morning internet family! I had a great day yesterday. I got out after work and walked/jogged 2.69 miles in 45 minutes. It was the longest I have gone. I have 10 days before my 5k and I want to make the 3.1 miles at least once before then. The backs of my thighs are a little sore, and for some reason the last 2/10s of a mile the middle three toes on my right foot were completely cramped up. I'll need to hydrate a little better going forward, since I don't usually take a water bottle with me. I'll have to look into one that I can strap on or something since i don't want to run/walk with it. This run I did less running than the walk the day before, but it seems to be getting easier. I was huffing and puffing when I got home, but it felt damn good. I don't know how people do marathons, or even halfs, because that doesn't even seem doable right now, lol.
I'm going to the gym tonight after work. I bought a groupon for a facility right near where I live. It's more like an exercise class/trainer since they don't have big machines. it seems to be the trend going now, where you just go to a class and somebody makes you work and sweat for an hour. I am looking forward to it. It's actually quite affordable. If I go there at least once or twice a week, and run a few miles 2 or 3 times a week I will be setting myself up for success. I've only really been walking/running for a week or so and I have to say I feel GOOD! A little sore, but definitely very good. It's funny because if you had asked me about working out just 2 weeks ago I'd have groaned and skirted the issue. Yay me!
So, I also ate extremely well yesterday. No urge to over snack. Ended up at 762 calories 89 protein and 49 carbs. A big win for me.
Goal for today is to drink more. I wish I had a trainer behind me telling me to drink every 5 minutes, lol.
QOTD: I get a little obsessive about whatever I'm into. I mean, if I decide to do something, I get obsessed with it for a while. Then it will fade and I'll move to something else. Right now I'm into Knitting/Crocheting and just recently added the exercise thing. I'll go whole hog on both of these. In the past I've been into reading, wire wrapping jewelry, playing an online game (there were a few phases of this with different games EveryQuest, World of Warcraft, Rift, and most recently Game of War), and playing weekly games of D&D. I've got a compulsive personality, so when I do something I'm all in while I'm at it. I have so many quirks, but this is something that sticks out to me. I'm a serial hobbyist?

My calories are low but I think that my intake is good. I may end up doubling that cheese and pepperoni snack in the evening, I'll see how starving I am after working out.
have a great day people!
