What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
You like screaming obscenities in public? Yup, you're a Phillies fan alright.

This sounds a little over the top, but it has seriously changed my life for the better! I have a hook on the back of my closest door that I hang my week's outfits from, in order of course, and it makes things so much easier. No more cursing X for being dirty or not being able to find a pair of run-free tights in the morning.
Sunday evening I just check the weather forecast and my meeting schedule for the week and pick things out - bam!

I do that! I don't always stick to my plan, but it gives me a starting point. This morning I went to try on the clothes I had picked and found that the pants are officially just too loose, so it started a chain reaction of trying everything I own on...but it was a good try!

I used to gravitate toward the shirts that I liked, and avoided others. Until someone told me I needed to stop wearing the same things so often. Now, I take whatever the next item on the left is, no matter what. Clean shirts get hung on the right, and everything gets rotated through equally. I'm sure the FBI surveillance people watching me have picked up on the consistency of the rotating color pattern.
So if you don't like what I'm wearing, its not my fault. The closet is in control.

OMG Grim, you are so funny! You remind me of a friend I have who is SO meticulous that he literally ROTATES his plates in the cupboard. His rationale is that if you only use the top 5 over and over, the bottom 3 will be left out. I find it so funny/weird. I have such an opposite way of dressing - each day it's like a brand new day to randomly pick something! Today I opted for a sweater - I feel like I need to save lighter clothes for warmer days :)
Meticulous? Me? That's hysterical.
I have no fashion sense. Fortunately, basic men's clothes are fairly idiot proof. I also thought I was picking things randomly, but it turns out I was actually picking the same few things, and ignoring everything else. That's why I arranged it so I can be lazy and free of choice -- just pick the first thing on the left.
If I need to get dressed up for something, I prefer to be told what to wear. Everyone is better off, and I really don't mind. Just think of me like a big Ken doll. Except, you know, with working parts.

PS. ESPECIALLY when you have like 3 things total that fit you, carefully deciding what you wear when is helpful!

Planning your outfits for the week is quite impressive! I wish I was that organized.
I was wondering the same thing about protein powder expiration dates. I was cleaning out my spare room (I'm still expecting Nikki and her family to show up for a visit!! ) and I found a box of samples i must have ordered early out. I'd love to be able to use them. Since I'm always late to the party, I'll have to read through the thread and see what the consensus is.
