What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?

Good morning everyone.

I told my husband about the meat challenge and he's all excited to watch me do it.  Yeah, you read that right.  He thinks it's funny.  I'm seriously considering it, but can we talk about what constitutes a condiment?  I mean, can I put some tomato sauce on my chicken breast or would I have to eat it straight?  If I do this, It would absolutely be on the critters track.  I need a few carbs or my blood sugar goes wonky. I can get those from milk and yogurt. I'm also assuming medical things don't count, because if I'm going to be eating only meat and dairy, Miralax will definitely have to be on the menu!

QOTD: Someone was once asking what celebrity you look like most, and I told my husband he should say Idris Elba.  He didn't get that this was a compliment, but I think Idris Elba is totally hot.

Tell our hubby he should join us for the meat challenge!!  LOL LOL

Those of us that have spouses the must think we are all a bit nuts! And I am okay with that!! HA HA HA

Yes for the critter option we are allowing "condiments" so sauce on your chicken breast is allowed, and milk, cheese, yogurt are all allowed on the critter option.

Miralax is a definite yes, however you use it, drink it or sprinkle it on food keep that the same.

So glad you are joining us for the All meat all week critter option challenge! YAY

Hey, I'm doing really great.  Thanks for asking.  The protein is actually quite difficult, but I've been able to get at least 60g a day.  Some days I have issues with nausea right after eating soft food, other times not.  The shakes go down really well all the time, so thank goodness for that.  The hospital said I could go down to 1 shake a day if I wanted to or I could stay on two for now.  Yogurt, laughing cow, really soft chicken breast and very soft cannellini beans seem to go down nicely as well.  Other beans go down good too, but chickpeas not so much.

I am able to walk 2.5k per day now.  I'm working my way up to 3 slowly.  I still have issues with fatigue.
