I have 2 Hollywood crushes...Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston. Though Jenn is a smoker and that is a huge turn off :(

had a bunch of sick people in my house so the weekend was spent attempting to dodge germs. Because of my complications last year I am negative in sick leave and I cant afford to call in. If I do, they use my annual and going to Universal this fall is way more important than not spreading this nasty bug to my coworkers...

I did go do a 3 mile hike on Saturday morning with a group from church. it was fun and will be a regular thing.

Yesterdays deets:

Homemade Longo

Pumpkin Pie Protein shake(YUM!)

Chocolate protein shake with 1 c of fairlife in it. I had half in the morning and half in the afternoon as hot cocoa both times

I am not weighing this week so I am hoping to maybe break my dependency on the scale. I have gone from weighing 3 times a week to 3 times an hour for some reason....oh yeah, because I am NEUROTIC

Still here in sunny Arizona...leaving today for the trip home. As of now the plane seating chart says no one is sitting next to me. Yes!

Last night was the wedding, I love my family in all their crazy glory. Hard to get 5 siblings together as you get older....but we were all there. So my nephew's new bride is from Brazil. So this is the first wedding I ever went to that had an all night coffee bar with Torani syrups including sugar free. So while some people may have been 3 sheets to the wind on wine, by the 5th large mug of coffee I was 3 sheets to the wind on caffeine....hahaha. Dancing the night away.

This trip I brought a shaker bottle and portions of protein powder. While mixing with water tastes....well just gross....I can survive it and it made me feel better about my food in a sea of uncertain choices.

M1: inspire pumpkin pie protein

M2: starbucks latte, egg sandwich

M3: Protein drink- mix at airport

Snacks for plane: protein bar, apple, hopefully can buy some hard boiled eggs in airport

M4: maybe premier protein I left in car for ride home.

M5: all I have at home is eggs. Forget meat week... I am having an all egg and all, protein drink day. Oh well, one day.

Oh and BTW I am old LOL so I always liked me some Sean Connery

Good morning! I was in email jail this morning and work so spend the better part of 2 hours sifting through and deleting. Here's to hoping the day gets better!

Celebrity Crush is probably Gerard Butler. I love that voice.

AV: have you seen Tom Hiddleston in Crimson Peak? He's hot in that one.

*The scale's not moving and I'm unsurprised. I keep eating crap like: ice cream cake at my son's bday Saturday. Surgery cannot come soon enough, although I know it won't fix choices like that particular one~~I am ready for "meat week".

B- roast beef and mozzarella roll ups/ irish tea w/creamer

L- romaine, mozzarella, pepperoni, feta, tomatoes, cucumbers with vinaigrette

D- sirloin, Caesar salad

S- 2T almonds

I'm late to the party, I was late to work so here's my response late.

Morning AV and crew. I had a rough morning. My youngest is sick, really miserably sick. Last year,  he came down with a "cold". Then he started breaking out in sores all over his mouth, which freaked me out. His mouth was bleeding horribly and he wouldn't eat or drink. We took him to the doc and found out that he had contracted the virus that causes cold sores (herpes simplex 1). My husband doesn't get cold sores, but I do. Apparently, the virus can be pretty harsh in infants, and can be deadly when they are newborns. We got through it last year, but it was really miserable. Well, he's got it again. It's not nearly as bad as it was last year, but he's got some sores and his mouth is swollen and sore. He will only drink a little, and we've been trying to give him acetametaphine and ibuprofin on roating schedules to help with the discomfort, but it's a fight to get him to eat or drink because his mouth hurts. He got hungry enough last night to eat some chicken nuggets and strawberries. So, my husband has him at the doctor now, and I got to work 1.5 hours late. I had a teary morning because he was so miserable and I hate to see him like this. Of course when they get sick all they want is momma to hold them. Gah, I hate being a working mom. Hubby just called, of course it's a virus, but they said that there aren't any sores in his mouth at all, so the only ones are on his lips. Thank goodness. We'll just batten down and try to get through the next week while the virus runs it's course. I hate kids being sick, and every time this kid gets a cold sore i feel horrible because I KNOW he got the virus from me last winter.

Update about my poor face. The flare is over, but I'm dealing with the scabby sores that are left behind. I'm still doubling my antibiotics for a bit to help heal it up. It's difficult to go out in public because it really looks horrible. I wish there were a treatment that was the equivalent of WLS for this stuff. I struggle because i don't know what happened to cause the flare.

I also started ANOTHER knitting project this weekend, so I'm currently working on three of them. I'm crocheting an afghan, knitting a sweater for myself (which will take some time) and this weekend I started a sweater for my 2 year old. I'm thinking that the sweater for my kid will work up fast and I really NEED to feel like I'm making progress. He'll be able to wear it in the spring when it's still cool, so I'll be happy to see it used. I'm about 1/10 of the way through, so I'll just push really hard on it every night until I get it done. Should take me a few weeks, I'll post pics once I get it done. Also, an NSV. I am now officially in a size 9/10 pants... comfortably. My 14s are getting to the point where they slip down my butt, and all my XL tops look oversized. I haven't lost a ton of weight lately, but I think a lot of it is redistributing and the few pounds go a long way.

KQOTD... this is a hard one. I would have to say it's Kit Harrigton who plays Jon Snow on Game of Thrones. I have a thing for pale men with dark hair, omg he's beautiful.

7.5 months post op

B: 1 egg, 1 bacon, 1/4 cup refried black beans and coffee with cream.

L: 2oz ham, 2oz roast beef, 1 ultra thin slice of provolone with mustard, and a pickle spear.

D: 2oz mock chicken with stewed veggies (I reserve the right to eat something else instead, this stuff is yummy, but the calories to protein ratio is pretty damn low) I might switch to a more protein forward dinner tonight.

S: Light and Fit Toasted Coconut Vanilla, salted caramel quest shake with unsweetened vanilla almond milk.

Calories 804 protein 83 carbs 33 fat 34

Have a great day everyone.
