Optifast and stuck at 15 pounds. Wth!?!
My surgery is scheduled for Wednesday. I e stuck to the Optifast plan. On Tuesday is will be 14 days.
i was ecstatic to weigh myself last week and see that I've lost 15 pounds.
But it's now a few days later and I swear the damn scale hasn't moved.
I'm dead? Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong?

It's normal. We lose weight in a stair-step fashion ( lose a little, stay the same for awhile, lose a little more). We hold on to fluids, or we get constipated and it will effect what the scale says. Just don't get discouraged and stick with the program. Measure yourself. The scale may not be moving, but I'll bet you're losing fat. Measuring would be a more accurate way to check progress.
It's normal. I was on Optifast for 30 days and lost 13 lbs. I was 100% compliant, and was upset that I hadn't lost 20 or 30 lbs. Everything turned out just fine for me...as it will for you.
Weight loss is a highly individual thing.
After surgery, some of of us are slow, steady losers, and some of us are stair-step losers. Some lose a lot initially and then the weight loss slows, but continues ( That was me. I kept losing until I was 19 months out. ), and some of us lose all the excess weight within the 1st year.
Don't be shocked or dismayed if you come home from the hospital weighing more than you went in. It could take a few days to a week or even 10 days before all that fun extra fluid from surgery disappears.
There will be stalls and pauses in your weight loss at times. This too is normal. As long as you stick to your plan, and power through those dreaded pauses, you should do wonderfully.
