What's on your Sunday menu, RNYers?

Hello JB, and the crew.

I apologize for being spotty with my posting lately. I have been taking care of someone who spent YEARS taking care of me. It's really hard watching my sweetheart struggle so much with this recovery from her surgery to remove a tumor behind her ear. It had attached to her facial muscles, so they inserted pins in her face to monitor any facial nerve damage.

I have been getting a much better understanding how devoted people become to each other as the years pass. It's been an honor actually.

I have been reading the threads here though. The "meat challenge" thing, sounds cool. Except that's how I already eat. So I applaud your efforts to change.

I have been "hiking" alot myself. If you count "hiking" as carring your kids golf clubs as he plays in various matches around the county. I am walking my ass off...literally! It is gone!

B: Steak 3oz.

L: 1 can tuna 1 inch pickle

D: Turkey 3 oz. pork rinds.

Thanks for posting on weekends JB. I'm glad you're doing this.

Have a great day everyone!

Aloha Sunday morningers!  Sitting on our lanai with a cup of coffee, enjoying the early morning bird songs. Yesterday started with a nice walk, to shopping of course. The rest of the morning was beach time, and then came back to the condo and right to the pool. Can I hear an "amen"?

Today is snorkeling and a hike. I am doing okay in the eating department. Had grilled Mahi for dinner. The gang made bagel sandwiches to take to the beach, and they brought me a container with just meat a cheese in it. I love these guys!  My one dark spot may, or may not, have been an encounter with a bag of Hawaiian potato chips (hint: it was).

Don't know what is on the menu today, but likely more of the same. Oh, and did I mention Mai Tais? There are plenty of those.

I'm so jealous! I mean I'm hoping for my snow day, but Mai Tais on the beach sound better!

Lily and I were lucky after all! Rain/snow mixed stopped while I was church so we got our 3.2 miles in at the park. Horray no treadmill for me!

I know it is late but I thought I'd chime in. Still in AZ got to soak up some rays poolside for a few hours. Heaven. Wedding at 4PM outside. Yay? Yay!!

B1: inspire pumpkin pie protein drink mixed with water. (Early)

B: Huevos rancheros - ate about 1/3 corn tortilla, 1 egg, few bites each black beans and carne asada. It was yummy, did feel a shame to throw out more than 1/2 a yummy breakfast.

L: 2 hard boiled eggs, 1/4c cottage cheese, bite of scone

S: Protein powder mixed with water

D: Wedding..... have no idea.

Usually when I visit a friend or my son, I'll just go and buy protein powder or premier ...and they usually have a blender. This time because I am at a hotel, and didn't rent a car I brought pre measured protein powder in sandwich bags and a shaker cup. ...I am so glad I did. So while I am in a sea of uncertain food choices and unknowns...I am getting my protein in. Is it tasty? No not really but I'll live.

Hi JB, how are you feeling today, how is the dizziness, any better?  Sorry I am posting late, its been a very busy day.

Today here its been full sun, but cool, can't put the winter coats/boots/hats/mitts away yet!  They are calling for snow here as well but not to start until Monday afternoon, but then snow Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and rain Thursday.  OH how spring can't make up her mind!

I love your plans today (which I am sure you already did and are home, its 7:00pm EST here).  I love hiking.  I love being outdoors. So happy to see you already got your "critter only" menu plan going, so awesome!

I have started to prepare for the A-MAW (All meat all week) challenge and I am trying to see what it feels like to eat just meat...not going to lie, its a bit weird, but weird in a good way, I am super satisfied after I eat.  So onward...

Oh and I talk about all of you to my husband all the time, he says he feels like he knows all of you already, of course only by our OH names, so when I say something like "Oh AV's QOTD was this... or Grim said this, or Anny has the best dresses, or Juniper is posting on the weekends now, or Nikki is doing an Ironman etc etc etc" he looks at me like I am making you all up! ha ha ha

Here is a pic of my pups today, we took them for a long hike, 10kms, this was a water and cookie break, hence them looking at me!

Time since surgery: 2 years + 4 months

B: two coffees with milk & splenda then 4 slices of Honey Ham crisped up a bit on the bbq (that's the way I like it)

L: 10 shrimp + ****tails sauce

S: 4 slices of Honey Ham (crisped on the bbq) + protein hot chocolate

D: 6oz of bbq'd chicken breast  + 1 tbsp of bbq sauce for dipping

S: 3 slices of deli salami with 1 tsp of spicy mustard

Totals:  Calories:823  Protein:119  Carbs:20  Fat:29

Have a great evening all!

Sorry I'm the latest of the late today!

I'm just catching up on a little work. My DH is criticizing my LOUD typing as I type this. hahaha It's my keyboards fault!

Today I listed some stuff on ebay, cleaned up the ebay room a bit, slept in (DH took the pups this morning).

3rd day of the weird pouch. Hoping the weirdness ends soon. I might take my PPI at night instead of morning to see if that helps.

They said we MAY get snow tonight in north GA, we will see- so I rode the recumbent bike for 7.7 miles instead of jogging outside where it is COLD- like 50 degrees- lol

I did get a hot stone massage yesterday with a little shopping- it was my 75 pound weight loss reward- I'm at 88 now and will plan for a 100 pound one also.

b: muscle milk 100/ decaf

L: baked chicken/zuchini

D: tuna/hummus/quest  chips (1/2 bag)

S: carbmaster yogurt and 1/2 quest bar
