I shall discuss with hubby...

How far are you and Juniper from downtown Boston?  That is a place hubby and I want to go for a long weekend.  If its not a huge long drive for you and JB and if work schedules and all that work out we could meet.

Otherwise we are trying to plan a trip back to Martha's Vineyard in 2017, we were there last year for a wedding and fell in love with the place and the drive down was so easy.

We're both right outside of Boston. Maybe a half hour drive, unless traffic is super crazy.

It sounds like you'll be around sooner or later. That would be fantastic!

Awwww the weekend!

Its sunny but cold here (32F).  Just got back from brunch and grocery shopping, just wanted to quickly check in here and then on my way out with hubby to take the dogs for a hike.  Dinner tonight with my hubby and cousins, can't wait, its this new place, called "Harvest" they are very pro local food, organic, when I made reservations the lady asked all sorts of questions, any one have food allergies in your party (yes me to potatoes) are you celebrating an event, do you want fireside or window side, do you have children in your party? It was very thorough, I was impressed!  Will report back tomorrow.

I do used to get terribly dizzy JB.  First when I was post op it was my BP dropping a ton, then once that leveled out it was lack of water. I have since sorted that out, I drink two cups of water with lemon right before I got to bed (I must have a huge bladder cuz I never wake up in the middle of the night go to pee).  But recently, like last Fall I was waking up dizzy and with headaches, turns out it was my Iron levels, I was severely anemic, that's a story for another day, but have sorted that out too and now its all good. I hope you feel better, nothing wrong with staying home and relaxing and doing catch up.

Time since surgery: 2 years + 4 months post op

B: two eggs and one slice of ham + 3 coffees with milk & splenda

D: not sure yet, its dinner out, looked at the menu and I am thinking I will go with and I quote from their menu "Hanover Hills Farm 60 day dry aged Rib eye" sounds good right!

S: 8 shrimp with ****tail sauce + protein hot chocolate

Totals: calories: 917  protein: 103  carbs: 23  fat: 44

V/W: vits done, calcium on alarms, lots of coffee, tea and water with lemon

E: walked around the mall, took the dogs out early this morning for 2km and about to go back out wit the dogs for a hike for 6km

Happy Saturday folks!  Thanks to everyone *****sponded to my other post about about our all meat all week challenge!

Highly allergic to potatoes, can you believe that!  I get severe migraines (like put me in the hospital pain) and massive stomach upset. I have to read labels to like crazy to see if there is any potato starch in food, and a lot of random foods have potato starch.  Its all good though cuz now post WLS I don't eat pasta, rice, potatoes anyways and I don't eat a lot of processed food due to the added potato starch.

Oddly I don't miss potatoes at all.

It's funny, I seldom miss them either. But I used to eat potatoes in one form or another every single day. You probably would have had an allergic reaction just being in the same room with me. I now only have them on holidays. I think of holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter as mashed potato and corn holidays.

Welcome Nanny!

Great looking menu!  I love horseradish and always forget to keep it in the house.

Keep up the great work, your protein and liquid intake is fantastic.  Hope to see you on the Menu board more often!

Happy 3 months tomorrow!

Take care,

Daisy
