What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
I posted my wedding photo last week so this week you get my "I want to still be in bed but I'm out here scraping off my car because of this ridiculous Spring snow" photo
We didn't have a wedding dance- we were 21 and didn't have a lot to spend and my husband isn't a dancer, but our song. From the ceremony was "I will be here" by Steven Curtis Chapman. Still love it to this day.
B: supposed to be a candy cane shake but I didn't check the and just took a sip and it's nasty!
S: beef jerky
L: turkey deli meat and 1oz colby
S: carb master yogurt

My Photo Friday consists of me finally uploading a pic for my profile. I'm bored at my desk and have a new haircut, though it doesn't look as good now that I'm the one that actually has to deal with it in the morning. I also uploaded a pre-surgery photo into my albums.
My Wedding song was Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis, so I really love the UB40 version of this song, but not as easy to dance to and my grandmother loved Elvis so we kind of did that version for her. Our real couple song is All Mixed Up by 311, and there was definitely no way we were dancing to that. We are both horrible dancers.
Time since surgery: 3 Months
S: Double Scoop Unjury Shake
B: Crab Salad maybe some banana before the gym
L: ??? Not sure didn't have anything left to bring, so I'll mosey downstairs the menu has hot dogs on it so I may get a sandwich wrap and just eat the meat
D: ???
S: Unjury Shake
Our Schedule is out of whack tonight so I'm not sure what me and the 2 year old heathen will eat While daddy and the 7 year old are at gymnastics, probably a small hamburger patty from somewhere.
Not even putting totals down since I have no idea what's going on yet.

10+ years post op, living & loving life!
Morning AV and pals, look at you all cute in your dress! First, before I start of the QOTD, I have so say that my stall has officially broken. I've lost 2lbs in the last 2 days. Woohooo! I tightened my grip on my menu and it is really showing. I've also upped my fluid intake, which I've been having major issues with. hoping that this loss keeps going.
On to the QOTD, I've had 2 fancy weddings. The first, when I was 24, the wedding song was How Deep is your Love by the BeeGees. The answer to that question is: obviously not deep enough. LOL. The second wedding, to my current husband and true soulmate, was Come What May by Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman from the movie Moulin Rouge! I love that song still to this day and get weepy when I hear it. I also love that movie. I've listened to it on repeat since I read your post this morning. Thanks for bringing up awesome memories.
So, are we really doing ALL MEAT WEEK next week? I'm down, but I have to prepare this weekend. I'm willing to do the All animal product version, cause I need a little dairy and/or eggs in my life to survive.
here's my plan for the day:
B: 1 egg, 1 bacon and 1/2 oz cheese, coffee with cream and splenda
L: lightly breaded chicken breast and stewed veggies
D: NY Strip and stewed veggies
S: a protein shake made with almond milk this evening
Totals:
Calories 699 Protein 87 carbs 20 fat 30
I'm trying to trim the fat (figuratively) from my menu. I'm feeling strong. I'm only 9lbs away from my Doctors goal and from no longer being considered obese. I've signed up for a 5k on April 3rd and then I'm going to do the Warrior Dash in July less than a week before my 1 year surgiversary. Motivation (rawr)
