First follow up meeting after complicated RNY

I just got back from my first follow up with the bariatric clinic. They were impressed with how well I was doing, not just after the complications, but after my first week. Feels really good to be on track and start feeling a sense of accomplishment.

Glad to hear that,Joanne! You will be so amazed at this journey. You had a much rougher start than most but the results will truly amaze you! If you had told me 4 years ago that I would weigh 122 pounds,I would have laughed in your face! You will feel so much better and be able to live a happy active life. My only regret is not having surgery sooner so I could have helped my boys learn to be healthy. Both of them are grown now and have weight issues too,though the youngest graduated college and got a very physical job. He has lost 42 pounds and is amazed at how much better he feels. This surgery will be great for you and your whole family. Congratulations and thank for sharing with us!
