Couldn't sum it up any better,Daisy. And I am right there with you. Every day is a series of hard choices. It would be much easier to not follow my plan, track my food and measure every bite in my mouth, but because I do not ever want to be the miserable person in my before picture again,I will make these hard choices each and every time. I love my new skinny body and my new clothes and they WILL continue to fit me. It is all worth it!

Karen I want to reach through the computer and give you a giant HIGH FIVE! Every minute of every day is a series of choices, 99.9% of the time they are hard choices.  You are so right, it would be so easy to not plan, track or measure everything, and I get tired of it all too, but you took the words out of my mouth that I do not ever want to be that miserable person in my before picture, and I was miserable, trust me you all would not have wanted to know me back then, I WAS that angry fat *****

And yes you look amazing in your new "skinny body and new clothes" and you deserve that joy for all your hard work you have put in an continue to put in every day.

Thank you for your post, thank you for "getting it"

 Thanks Grim

I try to post daily like you because it also "keeps my head in the game."  I truly want and wish the best for everyone on OH, all those that come here, the newbies, the not so newbies (like me) the lurkers and the vets.  It really breaks my heart to see people struggling.

Sorry you didn't get the fab "S" t-shirt and got the bum knees and diabetes.  I was a walking time bomb, stroke and heart attacks run rampant on both side of my family and I had super uncontrolled high BP that no amount of meds would bring down, I think it was just a matter of time before I had stroke and lost it all.  And I love your line "I never, ever, will do that to myself again..." DITTO!

Galaxy Quest... one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE MOVIES... "Never give up, never surrender"

Thanks for your support, means a lot to me

Man I'm glad to know there are other people who struggle like me. It is so frustrating! I am not glad we struggle, but I am grateful I am not alone.

Hi AV and menu pals & menu readers!  Happy Hump Day

OMG QOTD...well as you all know I have two dogs (British Labs) and we buy them only dry food and I add in extra protein & sometimes extra veggies for them.  Quite frankly I think wet dog food is hideous!  I would take dry kibble any day but only if I get to eat it the way I prepare it for them, see pic below

Your QOTD is so like what happened to me last night.. I was making my lunch (opening a can of tuna) my husband comes up beside me and says would you drink the canned tuna water for $50,000? I looked at him and said are you crazy, no way!  He says "for $50K you wouldn't drink a little tuna water????" I said "no not even for $100K!!!!!" He thinks I AM THE CRAZY ONE.  He does this to me all the time, the "would you rather or would you do this or this" scenarios... men!!

Time Since Surgery: 2 years + 4 months - menu is copied from MFP below.

A quick pic of some of today's eats, shrimp, red pepper strips/laughing cow & can of tuna over salad greens & protein hot chocolate

V/W: vits done, calcium on alarms and lots of coffee, tea and water with lemon

E: 5km jog on lunch if not raining and 5km jog after work if not raining

Have a great day everyone!

Spoiled pups! My Charlie gets dry food but then gets some of our scraps.  She loves cooked carrots and avacado.  She's such a beggar!

Nikolai loves veggies.  He eats dry food, but I usually steam a bag of veggies for him at dinner time.  Carrots, broccoli and green beans are his favorites.  My dog is a spoiled brat.
