Your question about the time change made me laugh. I went to Painting with a Twist on Sunday with my good friend and her daughter. We were to meet at 11:30 at a restaraunt for lunch and painting was at 1. She was 20 minutes late to lunch and came in looking like death warmed over. She was out drinking and dancing the night before and only got a few hours sleep. So, I think in some cases, it does affect people, but only if you put yourself into those situations. I'm living large if I'm up past 10:30, even on the weekend. But honestly, for most people it's because they just need something to complain about. Facebook wouldn't be facebook without complaining. Also, if anyone wants to be my facebook friend, PM me. I will be honest and say that if you're not a regular here I will not respond to you. No hard feelings, but I am friend with Melissa and I love interacting with her there. She's awesome and if I'm ever in New Hampshire, I'm going to look her up.
I was stupid yesterday afternoon and thought I'd try to sneek in some Combos. Well, after all the talk about how I don't dump, I proved myself wrong. I found myself on the couch in the fetal position for a couple hours. then after that I didn't feel like really eating, I kept trying little things but everything just made me feel nauseated. I did stay under 1000 calories, but I felt like hell. So, stupid ass that I am thought I'd have "just a few" combos on the way to work, since they were stashed in my car. by the time I got to the parking lot I was dumping again. I took the rest of the bag and threw them ******s in the trash on my way in. I'm starting to feel a little better, but it made me skip my breakfast and taught me a valuable lesson.
QOTD: I love pizza. I found a pizza that will fit into my menu OCCASSIONALLY. We have a pizza place here called Hungry Howies and they have this gluten free thin crust pizza. I'm normally a beef, onions and green pepper kinda girl, but I've done a lot of research on the calories that are in their pizza and the cheapest calorie-wise is bacon. So, my go to for the last few times I've tried pizza is bacon, onions and green pepper. each slice of a small is 120 calories and I will eat 2. it's not great for my protein intake, but it fits for an okay for me dinner that I can do if I budget well for the rest of the day.
so, here's what I'm doing for my plan for the day. I gave away my breakfast because I feel ill. I had packed a 1 egg omelet with a slice of bacon and 1/2 oz of mozzarella cheese on a low carb tortilla, but instead I had Combos.

B: Cheddar pretzel combos, coffee with cream and splenda
L: 2oz NY Strip with 1/4c refried black beans, salsa and mozz cheese on 1/2 a low carb tortilla (may skip the tortilla, depends on my tummy.)
D: chicken chili that I threw together this morning in the slow cooker. I hope it turns out good, it was going to be chicken breast with enchilada sauce but then I started adding beans and stuff to it and it evolved. I couldn't taste it because it had raw chicken in it, but I think it'll be tasty. I love playing with my food. I built the recipe in MFP and it came up to 190 calories per serving (12 servings a pot, so realistic).
S: Carb Master yogurt Strawberry Colada, Shrimp and ****tail sauce (my protein was super low, damn combos)

Calories 795 Protein 73 carbs 65 (sad) Fat 28
I think that this whole combos incident has been a big learning experience for me. I think the whole thing started with that one cookie I ate on Sunday. Started a carb craving cycle, and it all came to a head yesterday and today. I'm glad it happened fast, as it will minimize the damage done.

I had a protein bar AND a KING SIZE Almond joy this morning.....WTF is wrong with me??? ugh Anyway, when I got to work, I had to RUSH to the bathroom...."intestinal" problems. Was in there with stomach cramps, etc etc for a while. I am assuming it was from all the **** I had just eaten?? Maybe?? I don't even know.
I am with you, I NEED to break this cycle I am in. Carbs = cravings for more carbs AND me being more HUNGRY all the time!!
I think I do this to myself because somehow I got broken, and now I'm trying to fill all the cracks in with food. personally, I'd rather stay completely broken than to patch myself up with that garbage.
Okay, here's the deal. The moment you even think about putting something off plan in your mouth, you pick up your phone and send me a message through facebook. I'll do the same. We can virtually ***** slap each other back into the right frame of mind.
Sorry about your dumping experience, but I love Combos. LOVE THEM. The cheddar cracker are my favorite.
