Good morning all!!! My weekend was uneventful, though having 3 teenagers is enough to drive anyone to binge.

Hubby is out of town, which I hate. Home late tomorrow night and I am actually going on the next trip with him, which I love.

I collected pencils when I was little and my jerk of a step mom threw them out. I mean, it was a pencil box... How much space did they really take?  I don't collect anything now. I am a minimalist and love big, empty space.

I have that click mocha you use. Do you make it according to directions or do you do something else?  I was wondering about 8 oz to one scoop but I wasn't sure. 2 scoops is 12 carbs and that is almost half my day....

You could absolutely make it with one scoop and however much water makes it taste good to you.  LOL  I usually use 2 scoops, but since I make it in the big blender bottle, it's like 24 oz. of water.  I try to keep my carbs around 50, so it's probably a little easier for me to fit it into my day.

Good Morning AV and The Team! I had a great weekend - very busy and I dodged the Girl Scout Cookies!  I joined a 24/7 gym about 2 miles from my home and made a commitment to do 30 days straight.....I started last week and doing well so far.  I'm up and out at 4:30/5:00 am every morning and back in time to sit down for a few before I get up and get ready for work.  I feel better already.

What do I collect? Anything with "Peace" on it - and I mean anything from stickers to towels, rugs, pillows, earrings, car stickers, flip-flops with the peace sign, peace jewelry and I've got two (2) peace tattoos.

Morning everyone.  Had a great weekend but I seemed to be so "head" hungry yesterday.  I didn't do to bad but did eat a skinny cow peanut butter candy bar.  Oh and going back to a few conversations ago they now have out cookies that are easter egg crème cookies.  So of course I bought a pack.  They were disgusting. I was so happy that they were bad cause I would have probably eaten all of them.  Haven't had a candy bar since surgery.  Oh well today is another day.

QOTD-what I collect.  I collect so much stuff my biggest is Lady Headvases from the 50's.  I have almost 500.  So to go along with them I also collect dust cause it is a pain in the rear to dust them.  I'm embarrassed to say I only dust them once a month.  My mother is horrified she says she raised me better then that. LOL.  Also love costume jewelry from the 40's and 50's. Oh and post cards from the early 1900's.

I love "Ladyhead" vases.  I have one, she was spray painted gold by whomever had her before me and I love her.  She sits on top of my bookcase.

I've looked at e-bay and they can get pretty darn pricey, that's why I only have the one.  I found her at a yard sale years ago.   I have a friend who has 3 of them she has found while traveling.

Beautiful Vintage Lady Headvase Head Vase Planter This is an example of a lady headvase.  They were worth quite a bit of money but like everything else when the economy went bad prices have fallen a little.  You use to get them at the 5&10 cent stores for a buck or so back in the 1950's.  Now some of them are worth thousands, most are worth anywhere from a hundred to a couple hundred.  Some values have fallen less then a hundred. Just depends on the desirability

I would have to turn them to face the wall at night. They'd creep me out otherwise.

Hey All! Still in recovery mode. I have about 4-5 hours of getting things done then crash. Yesterday didn't feel like eating.... post surgical blah... drank plenty of fluids but literally just got the protein in. Surgeon wants me to have 100g a day 1 month pre-op and 1 month post-op. I got 90ish yesterday.

I don't know if these qualify as collections or obsessions.

  1. Love a good gadget. Latest I bought is the Instapot electric pressure cooker. I have been know to buy two different brands of a gadget and then run scientific comparison tests on them before I decide which one to keep.
  2. I am an artist an occasional crafter, crocheter whatever. I teach Painting. I converted 3/4s of my garage into an Art room. I call it "The Hole" because there is so much crap in there. If something is on sale, if one is good, two, three, or four are better. My daughter-in-law before she married my son helped me clean and organize it one day. When she volunteered she didn't realize it would be a 12 hour project and her future MIL doesn't stop once she gets going. She didn't run for the hills, so I knew she was a keeper. She did say at the end of the day, I had an un-natural obsession for ribbon. Hahaha.

M1: Large tea, handful pecans

M2: 2 eggs, 1 slice cheese

M3: chicken salad

M4: Protein drink

M5: steak

M6: hot premier protein

Exercise: errrands, and I already vacuumed my living room. Whoo hoo!
