I forgot about your QOTD.  When I was a teenager I collected cows.  Cow stuffed animals, cow stuff everything.  My mom got me a stuffed cow in a red party dress one year for valenties day.  I named that stuffed animal Cowlotta Mootinez.  I swear, even at 15 years old I was a hoot.

Now I collect squirrels.  It started when I bought a cast iron squirrel nutcracker at a little antique store near my house.  Now I have squirrel tshirts, a cookie jar, a bunch of squirrel figurines.  I have expensive squirrels and even a lego squirrel.  I have one squirrel figurine that is playing basketball.  I don't even like basketball, wtf?  All if it has been gifted to me.  The only squirrel thing I have ever bought was that nutcracker.  So I guess it's squirrel by gifting, right?

OMG, I collect cows too! Pieces of them, anyway. They're all in my freezer right now.

I hope I don't follow your trend and start collecting squirrel.

Your cow collecting is way better than mine!

And, I would totally eat a squirrel.  But only if I had to because it was the end of the world or something.

I saw a baby squirrel a few months ago. It had fallen out of its nest and died. I have never, ever seen anything other than a fully grown squirrel other than that one time.

I find that very odd.

Good morning! Weekend was ok- super tired but was able to enjoy the nice weather a bit. Got the rose bushes trimmed down and got cushions for the new patio furniture. Argued with my husband about household projects and took my son to a birthday party! Why is weekend eating so much harder than weekday eating? I didn't go off plan or anything, but I've always struggled with wanting so snack more on the weekends. QOTD: I don't really collect anything except yarn. Yarn I buy with patterns in mind and great intentions, but because I'm such a slow knitter I don't get through it before I buy more with patterns in mind and great intentions:)

Good morning!

AV, I am impressed by your ability to come up with an interesting QOTD every day!

Before my latest cross-country move, my collections included antique glass, books, and chinoiserie. I sold or donated the bulk of the collections before I left (they were interesting, but not particularly valuable), and have decided to collect experiences instead of objects - they're easier to dust and file. :). I did keep my art books, though! And a ton of shoes, even though they aren't really a collection.

Food:

B: quick steel cut oats with added protein

L: roast sirloin tip and zucchini

D: ? - will have to check the freezer.

 S1: frozen mixed berries; S2: ?

Calories will be less than 1000, protein will be over 80, and fibre will be around 30

Gloomy but warm day here in Illinois. Think I will leash Lily up in a sec and get our 3.2 miles in now in case it decides to rain later. I will also do 30 minutes on the bike this afternoon and a mile after supper with Lily. Post op 42.5 months and weight at 122 today. Here's the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added  (1/2 c after cooking) L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese with 1/2 c green beans D 31/2 oz chicken thigh 1/2 c sweet potato S Greek yogurt. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices!
