Any teams near you?

We are about 2 1/2 hours from San Francisco and Oakland.  My hubby has been an A's fan since he was like 8 years old and so that's our team! We try and go to a few games a year. 

I saw games at both stadiums a few years ago. The Coliseum is horrible. They really should let them move to San Jose.

Any minor league teams?

Yeah, they need to figure something out. I just might have some stadium dirt sitting in a glass vial thing on my desk (one year we were able to watch Money Ball on the field after a game-my hubby was on cloud 9). This year I know we will at least be going to a game in July since he won tickets during December.  Are you familiar with Monte Moore? 

We have the Grizzlies here, which is interesting because they used to be an affiliate of the Giants so all the band wagon fans around here are Giants fans. Like a curse word in our house :)  http://www.milb.com/index.jsp?sid=t259

I saw the AA team for the Giants back when they were in Norwich CT, but they've since moved. We have the Red Sox' AAA and short season A teams close by, and AA is a couple hours away. I used to have a Canadian American independent league team walking distance from my house, but they folded a few years ago. There are college players in the Cape Cod Baseball League during the summer. They are great fun, and always have top prospects.

I'm a little angry at you people for sending Pablo Sandoval here. It's painful to watch.

Being a Dodger fan since birth, I DESPISE the Giants!  I think I will now refer to them as "the team that must not be named."

Love Baseball!  I bleed Dodger Blue!!!!

I saw a game there after we unloaded Manny on you guys. What a treat!
