My surgery date is set for March 28th and I was instructed by my surgeon to start taking a chewable or liquid multivitamin.  Please help me out......What multivitamin is recommended for bariatrics patients?

I am taking optisource for bariatric patients. It is $28 a month at Walgreens. You take 4 a day and it is everything you need.

I live in Canada and we have really ****ty multivitamins at our local stores in regards to a bariatric patient's needs.  So I order Opurity Chewable Multivitamin for Bypass and Sleeve online. 90 tabs for $39.95 USD.  You only have to take it once a day.

This is the webpage for it: http://www.opurity.com/products/opurityr-bypass-sleeve-optimized-chewable.html

I live near Canada, think my multivitamin is made in Canada, and have normal blood work readings 3 1/2 years out---  Centrum Silver 60-count chewables bought at Walmart for $8.95.

The hospital I got my surgery done at says that one is recommended also.  Unfortunately, I could not find the chewables anywhere nearby.  I didn't check Walmart.  Nice price difference.  I did a little comparison of the two.  I apologize for the tiny picture for the Opurity.  It's all I could find on their website.  I think I might stick with Opurity, despite the price, because it seems there's more vitamins in it for most of the vitamin types.

I tried to just put the pictures right in here, but they showed up as broken links for some reason.

I take chewable Centrum or the generic equivalent.   The generic equivalent at CVS often goes on sale - 2 for 1.  Super cheap!

I am doing those patch vitamins from Patchmd.com . They advertise them here on the site.  I  do both the calcium/vitamin D as well as the multivitamin patch.  They have coupons on facebook. They run about 20 bucks a month.  For me just three weeks after surgery, it's worth it to not have to get more pills in a tight stomach.  I go for blood work in two more weeks, so I will find out how they are working.
