What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
I am loving seeing all of the fancy dress pictures today. What a great looking group we are! I did not go to prom (yes, I say prom). My brother was married out of town on that day, so a no go for me. I wasn't unhappy about it. I went to an all girls school, so I would have had to do the asking, and there was no one I was interested in at the time. So, my brother's wedding gave me an iron clad excuse for not going. So, my pic is a before and after. No fancy dress photo for me.
I am so glad that it is almost the weekend. I need to get stuff pulled together for Hawaii (5 sleeps until vacation!). Try on clothes and shop for anything I am missing.
I scored tickets for Paul McCartney yesterday, here in Portland in April. I saw him about 10 years ago and he was fantastic. I'm going with a group of friends who are all big Beatles fans (I'm more of a Stones chick), and they've never seen him, so all are over the moon. Fun stuff.

You are a very sexy lady! Look how fabulous you look in your LBD!! That is a major transformation Maryann! You are doing everything right!
5 sleeps to Hawaii, OMG jealous! You must take a ton of photos while there for multiple Photo Friday's LOL LOL
My husband loves the Beatles, he would be over the moon to see Paul McCartney, the last time he came to Toronto I think the tickets sold out in something like 5 or 10 minutes, might even have been less, he is so talented, enjoy that concert for sure!
Have fun packing and trying on stuff for your trip, I love doing that kind of stuff now, doing the whole spin in front of the mirror, "do I like this dress with these heels or these heels?" One of the best feelings ever!
Thanks for sharing your pics! Really beautiful before & after!

Goodness Daisy, you are the sweetest thing ever! Thank you so much for the kind words. I will post pictures during my trip. Looking forward to kayaking, hiking and hoping to zip line. I never would have considered any of this two years ago. Isn't this journey amazing? I feel so grateful. So very grateful.

You are so sweet. I am working on confidence. I think that is one of the hardest things sometimes. I was being silly with my daughter when she took this picture.
I will confess I really do like my hair, It is a bit 80s but I don't care. I needed a change I have had the same hair for 15 years. I want to go lighter to hide my grays to.
