What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
I'm not very creative. I have a pontoon boat but it has no name even! Sorry! Post op 42 months and weight at 122 today. Rain off and on today and food pantry this morning but hoping to catch a dry spell this afternoon to do 3.2 miles at the park with Lily. I will also do 30 minutes on the bike at some point. Busy day with Easter cantata practice tonight and work on a sermon for Sunday as I am filling in for the pastor. I am pretty boring with food too,AV,but I am fine with that. It kind of keeps food unimportant to me and helps me see it only as fuel for my body. I rotate through mostly basic foods and nothing too complicated either. Here's the plan for today B1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz shrimp and 1/2 c pork and beans D 31/2 oz sausage I didn't make last night 1/2 c green beans S Greek yogurt. Have a great day everyone and make some good choices!
Karen! You have a boat without a name?! I demand you christen that poor nameless vessel.

Morning AV & company. Same weather here, rain and warm and the air feels thick. To combat the mud splatters on the back of my pants on days like to day I will wear yoga pants into work and bring my dress slacks with me, change at work and tada no splatters!
I to am getting majorly bored with my menu. I have to say though, hubby and I just bought a brand new BBQ, to quote you "squeeee!!"So we are going to fill the propane tank this weekend and start grilling EVERYTHING. I find that helps a lot with my menu because I love bbq grilled anything and everything and the variety is so much more.
If someone bought me a boat... first I would give it to my Dad, he LOVES boats (and I do not), he especially loves old wooden boats, so since I would be giving to my Dad I would name her "SS Narky." My Mom & Dad have this hilarious saying that when one gets all *****y with the other over whatever it is old retired people ***** about my they say "now don't get all Narky," the "toned down" version of snarky, its funny! Love your Uncle's "Frosticles" that is brilliant!

I thought of you this morning as I ate my tuna for breakfast :) I also love savory "lunch and dinner foods" in the morning. I am envious you have a grill - being in a condo in the city, no grill for me. I have a grill pan but it's not the same. Also, I would like someone else to grill the meat and then just serve it to me. Hubby for the win!

You are too cute Em! I am not sure if I should be flattered, when you eat tuna you think if me, so I am fishy HA HA HA HA LOL LOL LOL
I am totally kidding! I love tuna, always have, goes way way back to my childhood, I still make it exactly the way my Mom did when I was little. And its a huge protein packed little meal! Yup you and I have always had the same savory tastes and will eat dinner food for breakfast, knew I loved you for many reasons!
Totally would suck not having a bbq, we used to live in a condo years ago when we first started dating, hated the no grilling thing and you are right, gill pans are just not the same!
We need to get you a hubby too, being served anything is awesome, even a cup of tea feels special LOL
Glad too see you on the board, miss you

LOL you are hilarious! Nope, you're not fishy...but most people eat eggs for breakfast, and you and I eat a can of tuna :) I make mine like my mom makes it - diced onions, salt and pepper, and mayo. I just bought some olive oil mayo which is way fewer calories than regular mayo, so I am curious to see how it tastes. The protein is awesome, and I just figure I may die of mercury poisoning but I have come to terms with that!
Yeah, I wish I had a BBQ. We have a common roof, and I am condo board president, so I have considered suggesting we get one, but I think it may affect our insurance rates. TBD.
I do try to read the board every night and it always cracks me up. I like this little community. Isn't it crazy to think I used to start the daily thread, and then Anny? I have to say, AV's sense of humor kills me in the best way possible. I usually laugh out loud when I read her post. So even if I don't contribute, I am lurking. I have had a lot of evening plans recently so I often have to wing it for dinner. But today is tuna for breakfast and lunch both.
I think it's adorable how much you love your hubby. I am currently dating the nicest man ever, who is PERFECT on paper...and who I don't want to sleep with. So yeah, that's about to end :)
Enjoy your new BBQ and I will look forward to pics tomorrow!
