What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
I usually have multiple books on the go - at least one mystery, an art-related book, and a couple of 'other'. I just finished Evidence (Jonathan Kellerman) yesterday, the art book is 'Bad Boy (Eric Fischl), and the current 'others' are a history of the small town I just moved to, and a book about balcony gardening. I am in a two-storey townhouse, so plan to grow green seedless grapes that climb up to the balcony from the ground, then will grow zucchini, tomatoes, herbs and flowers on the (small) balcony itself. I moved from the central prairies (zone 2-3) to SW Ontario (zone 5) so am excited to experiment with lots of different varieties to find what will grow the best. And it makes me happy to think about the garden!
Good morning! I am getting bored with my menu, too. There must be something in the air. I was thinking about randomly picking someone's menu from earlier in the week and just going with that. Everything you guys eat always sounds so good! KQOTD - I've never thought about that. No one in my immediate family has ever owned a boat, although lots of my cousins do. hmmmm, someone the other day said I was small but mighty, so maybe I'll go with that, cause if someone is gifting me a boat, I'm sure it won't be yacht sized, and if it is, the irony would suit my sense of humor.
Here's my plan:
B: Ground turkey and cheese
L: grilled chicken and mixed veggies
D: Hamburger patty with grilled onions and a slice of cheese
S: Light and Fit (I'm trying the strawberry cheesecake with the crunchy add ins) and somersaults (maybe) I was going to get Starbucks this morning, but I couldn't get my ass in gear and I was late leaving the house. Mobile ordering still wouldn't have saved me from being late. I WANT my COFFEE!!!!!
E: Run in the park tonight with my sister in law. Can't wait for the time change so I can stop running with a head lamp. I feel like a very short lighthouse.
Totals: Cal. 1004, Protein: 101g; Fat: 43g; Carbs: 46g (totals include a skinny vanilla latte)
Have a good Thursday, everyone!
Hi all- my menu is the same as always until dinner. Have no plans yet, but will be sure to log it. QOTD: probably "Uffda". A shout out to my growing up home and the fact that I laugh every time my husband (and now 5 year old) say it.
