One more day until the weekend!  Squeeee!  It's miserable rain here today, but it's warm as well, so everything is gross and steamy.  And for some reason I decided to wear really pale khakis so the backs of my legs are flecked with dirty puddle water.  Why am I so stupid when I get dressed?  LOL

Again, I hate my menu.  I need some inspiration, or maybe I just need some time to sit down and browse the interwebs and maybe stalk Melissa's low carb Pinterest page.      Really, I think I just need to make the time, because I've been on autopilot with what I eat for months and I'm so booorrrreeddd.

QOTD!  Someone gives you a boat; what do you name it?  Don't ask me why someone would give you a boat.  Just roll with it.  My grandfather was a commercial fisherman on LI back in the 60s and 70s and his boat was called The Spray.  My uncle had a sailboat named Frosticles, which he told me was the Greek god of beer.  Which I believed until I was like 20.  LOL  If I was gifted with a boat, I think I'd go the funny route, and name it something like Seas the Day.  Heh.   I love puns.

Time since surgery:  19 1/2 months

B:  coffee, mini wonton egg quiche and a Triple Zero peach yogurt

S:  cheese stick and a couple of pickles

L:  3 oz. deli chicken breast on 40 calorie multigrain toast spread with Laughing Cow

D:  cheddar omelet and turkey sausage.  I need something fast here because my son's science fair is tonight.  I have to admit, unlike last year I didn't do any of the work.  What I did do was repeatedly remind my son that I wasn't going to do any of the wor****il he snapped and was all, "I KNOW, MOM!".

I have no idea what I am eating. We are eating Thai at work tonight so I am going to call when they open and see if they can steam me something.  So I am only having a shake until I figure that out.

I have some great low carb recipes on my pinterest. I made this low carb cauliflower au gratin that I love and I am going to try a pizza crust made of ground chicken this weekend

If I had a boat I would totally name it For Play... No questions

I found a spinach pizza crust that I love to top with grilled chicken, Alfredo sauce and cheese.

Morning,  I have no idea what I would name a boat.  We do have a boat that we go fishing but it's not named just has the numbers on the side.  I'm not very imaginative. Lol.  Maybe the Minnow wasn't that what Gilligan's boat was named.  It has poured here for 2 days I barely could get out of my drive cause it was flooded so bad.  Suppose to rain for the next couple of days.  Oh the pleasure of living in the gulf coast on swamp land.

B-Premier Protein

S-yogurt love this stuff

L-Spaghetti with meat sauce--ok so I don't have the noodles just the sauce but I'm trying to pretend that I have pasta under the sauce

S-Cheese stick, couple of grapes and cantaloupe I've bought 2 cantaloupes this past week and they have been so sweet

D-? not sure we are going to a cooking show in Beaumont so will grab something on the way

The cooking show is put on by Taste of Home  Been to a number of them they are so fun.  You get a goodies bag with samples and a cooking magazine and you watch them cook some of the recipes from the magazine.  Then they have a drawing where they give the things they have cooked during the show away.  I don't care so much for the food but the bowls and dishes they give away are really nice.

French Style green beans makes a decent faux pasta with spaghetti.

Sounds like you may need your boat there for transportation?
