And yet, my labs always come back with protein on the lower end of the scale. The range is 6.4 - 8.3 g/dL, and on February 18, my protein was 6.8. I asked about it, and my doc said I could try increasing my protein intake. I told him I wasn't sure that was possible. "Eat a steak," he said. Seriously?

Grim & fellow Quest bar fans, I bought 3 Quest bars yesterday, one Brownie, one Cookies & Cream & one Strawberry Cheesecake to try. I am thinking of making then into "World according to Eggface" protein cookies! If I don't like them hubby will eat them! Wish me luck!

good luck. Remember, temperature matters. There is a big difference in taste and texture if they are cold, room temperature, or warmed up.
I've never had the strawberry cheesecake. The cookies and cream was just ok. To date, I have had 146,278 of the Chocolate Brownie.

Oh no, sorry you are sick :(
It's my last day at work before vaca and I packed about a lot of food just in case I need to work a 12 hour day to get it all done before I go. So there's definitely a plan A and plan B in my menu options today, but I will post how I hope it goes!
QOTD: Love 'em but only if they are "fresh". I like when the middle is creamy and oozes, but when they are crusty, I think they are gross. I wish you could squeeze them like melons to see if they are ripe!
B: fit frappe espresso
S: almonds and cheddar cheese
L: chicken salad
S: turkey/cheese roll up
D: hamburger and small salad
There's a balancing act, right? If they are fresh and warm, the inside is nice and fluid/creamy. But too warm, and the chocolate outside melts. It's a real conundrum.

I think I would literally die if I tried to eat one, now. I had such a bad reaction off of one Hershey Kiss that I can't imagine what a Cadbury Creme Egg would do to me!
But Death by Chocolate has always been my preferred way to go...
