What's on Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
I need to try a pair of Saucony. Whenever I go to get fit, they NEVER bring a pair out, so maybe they won't work on my foot. I alternate between Asics and Nike. I need a new pair and can't decide which I want so I have nothing. I really need to decide, I'm running 2 1/2 marathons by May and would like to do it in comfy shoes.
Yep. Everyone who works there is a runner of some sort. They didn't sell Nike for a while but said they brand has had a major redesign and not they're great for running. The last time I was in there they had me try Brooks, adidas, New Balance and the Nike. They told me the Asics I love were redesigned and the new version wasn't out yet. I love going there, they have you try them, then they watch you as you run in them outside. I always get good tips on form and technique, etc.
Yesterday was a train wreck. I couldnt have logged it if I wanted to. I am so disappointed in myself, but got my poop in a group last night and got ready for the week....at least my husband stayed strong and wouldnt help me in my devolution to fat girl city...WOW~
the last thing I bought myself was bras...and the world claps!!!! Really helped me look better to put my stuff back where it belonged....

Good morning!
Last thing I bought myself was a crimson winter parka during the 'up to 80% off' sales. My current down-fill coat is enormous on me, and will keep someone else toasty warm next winter.
I find it's difficult to resist buying anything that fits and looks fairly good, since that happened so rarely in the pre-RNY days. I am trying to be more discriminating in my purchases right now, and when tempted, remind myself that I am not yet at my final weight (I hope). Mixed success so far. :)

I was happy to see there is a weekend 'what's on your menu,' since my weekend food plan is pretty erratic and I eat way more calories than during the week. I'll see some of you there next weekend!
Wahoo, that B* of a scale finally slid to 199. So excited. I didn't do terrible this weekend, but didn't get enough food and protein in, as I should, so I had a bit of a headache last night.
I'm obsessed with LulaRoe and bought a skirt and leggings last week. The Leggings are so comfy wish I could wear them all the time.
