I know a thread was started but I can not seem to find it. Since have surgery in October my face has turned into ROAD PIZZA for lack of better term. I was using Mary Kay for a while but it seemed to get too expensive.

I have no clue how to cover the scars. I wear light make up almost going with out TIA

There is a makeup that is on infomercials and it seems to work really well.

I have long struggled with acne, but interestingly it's been better since surgery. When it was much worse, I used Acne Free from Walmart. http://www.walmart.com/ip/AcneFree-24-Hour-Acne-Clearing-Sys tem-3-count/23658516
Pretty similar to ProActive I believe but cheaper. It worked fairly well for me, but I know it varies so much for each person. The other product I swear by is benzaclin. It's a prescription but is generic so a low copayment. I still use that for spot treatment.

I have acne rosacea, so I see a dermatologist. The only thing that helps me is an antibiotic.
A dermatologist can help you determine what is causing your acne and what will help with it. If I try to use regular acne meds on my face, it would almost literally explode.
Once a few months after surgery I got food stuck and had to throw up. As I was throwing up I starting freaking out because I saw red blood dripping into the toilet. Turns out that my skin was so bad that throwing up made my skin on my face bleed. That was freaky. Thank God it wasn't my stomach bleeding.
I did a lot of exfoliating, not just my face but all over. I use exfoliating Dove soap and no creams or lotions. I believe that rapid weight loss make the skin throw off more dead cells and it needs extra help to get them off. If left on the skin they block pores and turn into blackheads, and pimples. If you leave them on and then add creams on top of them you are creating a layer like pie crust that will block everything and also get very itchy.
