7 days out and I want to chew something!
I'm in a similar boat. 5 days out and all I want is something to eat. The puree phase is all I am thinking about. I'm so tired of water, ginger tea and sugar free popsicles. I never thought I'd be fantasizing about mashed potatoes, jello and pudding. I'm tempted to pu**** since I'm only 2 days out but I don't want to hurt myself. This has been the hardest 24 hrs in this entire process.

I'm going to start the Sugar Free jello tonight..could've started earlier but I wasn't aware. They only gave me water, ice chips and popsicles on the last day. Thought the pudding should come in the puree stage.

I use SF choc pudding cups, I add a couple tablespoons of choc. Protein powder and thin down with acouple TBS of skim milk.
My doc had me on puree before leaving the hospital. Funny how they are all different.
Yea, I'm looking forward to starting on something a bit more interesting and chewable too. I nibbled on a piece of cheese and let it melt in my mouth yesterday. It tasted so good along with some warm beef broth.
