Stuck/platea/what's wrong with me
its not the 10 grams, its the ratio of sugar in total amount if i had something that was 2 ounces but 10 grams of sugar i would dump. her rule is no more than 10g of sugar per 8 0z, i don't dump or even have gas. they say no liquid cal. but understand some ppl are going to do creamer that has it or drink a beer. i keep my cal. under 600 most days. i don't do sugar any other time i was eating fruit when i didn't understand the blood sugar drops, but have cut that out, now that I know. i think Everybody is different based on age, activity, body.
Check the World According to Eggface's blog for tons of recipes. I'm busy too with a little one and working full time, but you may have to take some time on a weekend to make a batch of something for the upcoming week. I am in love with Eggface's Egg Bites recipes. Easy to make and even easier to grab for a very quick breakfast!

I completely agree with everyone who has posted so far. You definitely need to drop the V8 Fusion, 10grams of sugar (while you might be tolerating it fine) and the carbs will impact and slow your weight loss. Since you are only 5 months post op, you want to eat protein and non starchy, low carb veggies and other healthy alternatives to maximize your weight loss. You have a window of opportunity to lose the most weight during this window and by eating these foods you have outlined, you are impacting that and already experiencing the effects of it. There are so many things you can do with your food to mix it up, so you don't get bored. Cut the carbs, cut the sugar and you should see your weight loss pick back up.
Good luck!

Eggface's crustless mini-quiche are an awesome breakfast. You can make a batch and keep them in the fridge or freezer and heat them up for breakfast. I like mine with sausage, green pepper, and some hot sauce.

Until I lost all of my weight I had no sugar, no bread, no cereal, no noodles, no rice, no pasta, no potatoes, no corn, no fruit and no green peas.
My only carbs came from non starchy veggies. The burrito and the Lean Cuisine are not good choices. Eat dense protein and drink water. If you need a frozen meal, Atkins is the best for high protein and low net carbs. They have lots of breakfast, lunch and dinner choices.
Measure and track your food and get the net carbs down as low as possible. Net carbs are your carbs minus your fiber. Some people do not believe in the net carb idea. It works great for me. Check the Atkins and Quest Protein bar sites for great products and recipes that will satisfy you without stopping your weight loss.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
You are eating too many carbs and having too much sugar. If you cannot tolerate meat, try fish or chicken. There are so many ideas for meals.
Breakfast does not have to be sweet--eat a cheese stick. Try a scrambled egg or some cottage cheese. Eat a strip of bacon or even beef jerky. That V8 is sugar filled crap.
This is totally doable, but you have to give up the idea of eating like a 'normal' person. Picky eater? Okay, eat the same five things. The important part is to do it. Cutting out all the carbs and frankenfood is to your benefit.

Ok, i was losing weight ahead of schedule, im a little over 5 months out and scale wise i have not lost in a few weeks, i'm stuck at 216lbs. i don't eat that much, I'm eating healthy, i have lost 55 lbs in approx 165 days. .. i exercise, i do treadmill, bike and weights like 4-5 times a week.. suggestions, ideas... i have a cruise in 6 weeks and would love to be down 17 lbs... what is going on? is this normal i know around weeks 3-5 i got stuck..
I can almost guarantee you you are eating way too much sugar and it is stopping your weight loss.
As long as you give your body easy sugar, even in fruit and smoothies, your body will not burn your stored fat. Burning stored fat is what causes weight loss.
You are not going to lose as long as you keep eating like this.
i woke up this morning to a 3lb loss, the stall is over! i am negative calories for the day from exercise. .. woot woot! i have been eliminating carbs like everyone suggested. i did not eat carrots or fruit last night and amazingly my blood sugar did not drop. Going to eat some cheese since i only consumed 543 calories and didn't get all my protien plus I'm starving after that work out lol... thanks so much!
Thanks for everyone's advice! I'm down 6 more lbs in 2 weeks time! I have reactive Hypo glycemia which i world not have even known to talk to my dr about and would have kept increasing my sugar intake to counter react until my next appt in may! no sugar except my v fusion which is now my breakfast and is drank over a 2 hr span.. thanks for the advice.
