I never put my totals on the daily menu thread, but I stay anywhere between 900-1200 calories a day, I aim for 1000. My protein is minimum 65, but I often hit 80-85.  And I'm still in active losing phase.

I have never eaten 2 eggs. But only because they taste like crap. I can eat an 8 ounce steak though, and that's a lot more than a couple of cruddy eggs.

Protein is mostly in the egg whites, so I prepare one egg plus one more egg white. (Cruddy eggs?  It's a good thing our little harem of chickens can't read this and it's a good thing you live too far away to visit because you might make our cattle nervous with your salivating).

Two eggs, heavy cream, salt and pepper and lightly scrambled so they are still "wet".   I find most people overcook their eggs so they become dry and mealy.  As with most things, one must have a light touch    There's nothing cruddy about my eggs!

I'll stick with the meat. More eggs for you.

Some people can eat more. Portion control is important. Also so is measuring you calorie intake. I know some days I can eat two eggs other days not.

Some days I can only eat two bites of steak and others I can eat 3 or more ounces.

OK it is Saturday and I am still recovering from surgery. A good nights sleep makes a world of difference. Knowing bariatic Patients the Doc said 'eat more carbs' after my episode yesterday.am going to make a point to count fluid and count protein today.

May venture out to somewhere that has the motorized shopping cart. LOL but at least it would be a change of scenery.
