So I made it through liquids and full liquids (almost) and will be moving to purée on Tuesday. My list from my dr doesn't really give very exact examples just says purée everything  and soft cheeses...eat protein first all the stuff they drill in you... Well that's all fine and dandy but what do I eat? I want to do some shopping and meal prep this weekend but have no clue where to begin. What are some good ideas for purée stage? what should I definitely include?

You can check out the blog, theworldaccordingtoeggface, she shares lots of yummy recipes. Her ricotta bake is awesome!

Stupid question but do you have to purée cottage cheese? I think I can chew it pretty good....just wondering

you will probably be ok without pureeing cottage cheese.

but they basically told me to puree everything- don't think hey I can just chew it all up.

They told me the same that's why I was wondering about cottage cheese too...for all that might as well just do ricotta

my favorite things were-

cream of chicken soup/added protein

turkey bacon with gravy low carb/cal pureed

roast and gravy pureed

salmon puree (salmon cooked with fat free cream cheese)

turkey spam with gravy

fat free refried beans with salsa

also- glad makes 1/2 cup little plastic containers- i got that and put the food in there.

Thank you that sounds great...although I haven't seen turkey spam...I'll look. And I've been looking for small containers, my grocery store had 1cup and up...maybe I'll do a Walmart run I need those for everything, will make prepping much easier! Thanks again for the ideas

Sorry one more question, mild salsa? I'm a spicy food lover but I don't know if even medium salsa would be ok for my pouch yet?

mild only, otherwise you could irritate the pouch
