Good morning!  Weekend plans are up in the air right now.  I'm running with a friend saturday morning then getting my hair colored/cut.  I think a friend is coming over for dinner on Sunday.  Other than that, I've got nothing!  KQOTD - Damn, I got rid of the body last week!  My trunk right now is a black hole of crap.  I have empty water bottles that never made it to my recycling, gym clothes that need to make it to the washing machine, a brand new sheet set that I don't remember buying, a half chewed dog bone and a dog toy, a set of serving bowls that I bought for my sister in law for her birthday LAST YEAR (and apparently forgot to give her), and papers from work.  From looking at my trunk you would swear I'm a hoarder.  I have so much crap back there, it's probably affecting my gas mileage and I should probably do something about that.  I guess I can add it to the list of things to do this weekend . . . clean out trunk.

Food today is totally up in the air.  I didn't bring lunch with me and I didn't plan anything for dinner.  I'm going to have to be careful because days like this lead to disaster.  I'm going to try and stick to the following:

B: 2 eggs, 1oz shredded cheese

L: Grilled chicken and mixed veggies

D: fish maybe??

S: Skinny vanilla latte and cottage cheese

No totals since dinner is completely unplanned.  Boo.

Happy Friday!  This is me today: 

This weekend my husband is taking me to buy a new computer.  My current one is about 4-5 years old and is frequently quite frustrating to operate.  My husband decided it was time to get a new one -- I suspect it's his way of trying to reduce my stress since I've been taking care of him (from his ankle surgery) and now taking care of his brother son.  I have also been the only one in the household that has been working for the last two months.  So, Apple Store, here I come.

QOTD: My trunk is empty right now that that is awesome.  It had to be emptied out so that I could transport my husband's knee walker every time he had to go somewhere.  But on Monday the doctor cleared him to walk (in a medical boot) so I no long have to haul that stupid scooter down the stairs and lift it up into the car, then take it out of the car in the rain and set it up for him blah, blah blah.  Having him able to walk again has been a huge relief.

Time since surgery: 13 years

B: Protein Coffee

L: Left over Indian food

S: FF Cherry Flavored Greek Yogurt

D: Chicken and Veggies

S: Tea and French Macarons

Totals: 1,107 Cals, 99g Protein, 66g Carbs, 40g Fat

French macarons?  Now I want a pistachio macaron!

OMG, pistachio is the best!  Fortunately they are both expensive and from a store that's kind of a pain to get to (no parking, etc) so I can only have them twice a year or so.  Otherwise I'd completely undo my progress.  They are sooooo yummy.

Happy Friday! Except I'm feeling quite grumpy today- no particular reason- just grumpy. And i don't  feel like posting my meal (in my mind I sound like my whiny 5 year old so I'm sharing the love). It's the same as every other day: a shake, some yogurt, egg bites, and jerky. QOTD: Dog hair :)

Good morning from warm and sunny California.  Question:  What's a snowbrush???  LOL!  I've seen snow maybe 5-6 times ever in my life, and have only seen it actually falling from the sky once (trip to Scotland 15 years ago).  I always thought it would be fun to live where it snows in winter, but I bet it would get old fast.

So, my trunk has extra flip flops and beach towels for those spur of the moment trips to the beach.  And add me to the club with 2 bags of clothes to donate.  I give them to my best friend who donates them to a Viet Nam Veteran's charity and gets the write off for her taxes.  I've seen her a dozen times and forgot each time to put them in her trunk!

Today's pic was taken and posted on Facebook by San Carlos NutriMart this week... they are a great little store across the street from my office that has every kind of protein drinks and foods you can think of.  They gave me this T-Shirt when I hit my goal and often wear it when doing my lunch break walking.  I stopped in for a water after my walk, it was almost 90 degrees out.
