12 month wait! Grrrr

I made a three week stall post,  but mine said "I know it's normal,  but it sucks! "

I also had many loops, nutritional

training, behavioral therapy, I had to lose 10%, excercise program that I could prove. I joined the Y and swam 5 days a week . THAT is the main reason I am a very long term success. Don't just do the phone call. Come here daily OH has so much to offer

I'm sorry! I know it sucks....if my surgery actually happens in June like it's scheduled, I will have waited 7 months from start to OR day. But what everyone saying here is true I know. I still have some work to do to get my head completely straight. Yesterday I had a super stressful day and all I could think about on my drive home was getting ice cream. I called my mom to distract myself and it worked. Triggers...

I totally agree. Mine was a 6-month weight management series, that consisted of a monthly visit to my doctor and documentation sent to the surgeon. My whole process has actually been 1 year and three months since I attended my informational seminar. I just got my insurance approval and date of April 5 yesterday! I'm so excited! 

Use this 12 months as an education tool. I did. I have searched blogs, forums, Facebook groups, and made many friends along the way. I feel like I am better prepared, and have online friends to help answer questions if I need them. The time will pass fast for you, faster than you think. Good luck!
