A regular doctor or a psychiatrist can put her on a dosage of Seroquel it will increase her appetite she will gain some weight back it also relaxes the lungs for breathing because I have lung problems and take it myself it also works wonders for any kind of depression it eases your mind.  I always take mine around 5 in the evening you sleep really really well personally this is a wonderful solution instead of just going from doctor to doctor and not really getting any help you could call your doctor today and get this going, when I say it helps the lungs and breathing it's because it relaxes you. I've not had any bad side effects except gaining some weight, I will stay on at the rest of my life I would recommend starting out at a 50 milligram tablet not a 25 milligram.

Good that you are paying attention to what is happening with your wife. As others have said is she eating less? If so why? when I was considering surgery my husbands therapist and psychiatrist were both against the idea saying the see many many patients who develop  issues down the road. Which does not of course mean they cannot be treated and become healthy once again.

If she is not eating less then definately she needs a full check up as weight loss can be symptom of medical problems in no way related to WLS.

Good luck to both of and do keep us up to date on what you find out.
