It may not be super cold here today but cold enough that I had to wear a coat and I hate coats. I too see the 70's in the forecast next week. Trying not to get to excited. Cannot wait for my muggy, hot, humid DC summer weather.

I don't really have any weird food combinations that I can think of. I'm a plain eating kind of person.

Time since surgery:  11 weeks

S:  Double Scoop Unjury Shake

B:  Virginia Ham, Laughing Cow Cheese Wedge and a few wheat thins

L:  Chili with a sprinkle of cheese and a very little bit of sour cream

D:  ??? Family is having fish sticks, they have too much breading for me, so maybe leftover chicken from last night.

S:   Unjury Shake

Hubby just called.  He was supposed to come home this afternoon, but the part he was replacing this morning was broken in the package, so now he has to order another and wait until it comes in tomorrow morning.  Oh, the life of the wife of a Field Service Rep.  Le sigh.

BUMMER!!

I was a single mother for a long time with my daughter, but now that I have the two crazy boys at home also, I am SOOOOOO glad to have my Hubby's help with them!  Phew

I don't blame you. My surgeon said the same to me my last visit. He said, be stingy with your food- Make sure you get what you need first. Don't share then be out of the right kind of food, forcing you to eat off plan.

That made sense to me.

Luckily my DH has been eating pizza, corn dogs, banana bread and whatever I fix for food around here. So I know he won't be eating my stuff except a few exceptions.

So- I attempted to ride my bike again yesterday. I actually was able to stay on balance for the most part, went down the road, back the other way, and actually turned around without taking my feet off the pedals! Was so proud, baby steps and all!

Yay for bike riding!  I only ventured out on the road once last summer and I was white knuckling it the whole time.  LOL  I spent most of my bike time just tooling around the high school parking lot.

I think about getting a bike now and then. But I'd have to drive someplace to be able to ride it. I would definitely be run down and killed if I tried to ride around here.

Good Morning! We should hit 70 again today and then possibly some rain this weekend. We shall see.

Hmmm, strange food combo-that's a hard one. Ah, people think it's strange when I put my sweet and spicy tuna in a tortilla or use hummus as a dip for carrots (hey it's a veggie dipped into a veggie!)

Time since surgery: 18 months

B: SF latte, egg beaters with spinach, broccoli, and cheese

L: Philly cheese chicken sausage, baby carrots and some SF jello with SF cool whip

S: SF latte, L&F Greek Blueberry yogurt, and P3 nut cluster pack and 1/2 an orange

D: Philly cheese chicken sausage, and carrots

E: 6 miles

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1093 Protein:97 Carbs:85 Fat:40

Have a great one!

Nothing strange about dipping veggies into hummus!

You guys are seriously letting me down with the distinct lack of weird food combos.
