For me the Power crunch bars settle better then the quest bars, but I can see what you mean about them being drier.

The Quest brownie ones are amazing. I usually don't really care for them. But I really like them. The Power Crunch bars always gives me a trigger food feeling. I think they are not as dense.

I have had the milk chocolate crisp one, and I told my husband to NEVER ever ever buy another one again.  So yummy, but just like an actual candy bar.  Maybe when I'm in maintenance I'll try it again as a treat.

Huh I have never seen the crunch kind before, I have some of the wafer ones at one.  They taste like a candy bar to me!

Daisy,I have the same fear. I used to have quite the love affair with any sort of candy bar and protein bars take me right back there. I have only had 2 in my 31/2 years post op and they were samples given to me. Just too slippery a slope for me!

I made the mistake of eating an entire one one a 4 hour plane ride, and had pretty bad stomach cramping from the milk in it...

If you are going to eat one, just make sure you can handle it  internally lol
